  1. I am 12 weeks out and I have lost 37 lbs. You are doing awesome! Keep up the good work Summer
  2. Congratulations on reaching your goal! Summer
  3. I had a total hysterectomy 6 weeks after my sleeve surgery and let me tell you the sleeve surgery was nothing compared to that. I experienced very little pain with the sleeve and recovery was a breeze! Good luck to you Summer
  4. I chose the gastric sleeve because I did not want the dumping that can come with RNY. I also wanted to eventually be able to eat all of my favorite foods, just in much smaller portions. I did not go with the band due to having to get fills and unfills and the "stuck episodes". I am very happy with my decision Summer
  5. Maybe it is time to search out a new PCP if your current one is unable/unwilling to help you if you have surgery??? I had gastric sleeve done and I have been off my diabetes meds since the day of surgery. Good luck! Summer
  6. I was told not to let my BMI get lower than 35 (I had comorbidities) or the insurance could deny me. Good luck!
  7. Idon't know how I will celebrate when I reach 199, I can't quite believe it will happen lol. I might finally go buy some new clothes
  8. Congratulations! That is awesome!
  9. I weigh almost every day. I am two months out. I only record my weight once a week though. Weighing is so exciting now -- the scale is almost always going down Summer
  10. RJ good luck at your appointment. I hope it goes exceptionally well. You deserve all the best after everything you have been through! Summer
  11. You will start losing again. Just keep doing what you are doing. I had a 5 day stall during week 2 and then went right back to losing. Your body is still healing.
  12. I had surgery 11/4/14 and I stalled the second week also. It lasted about 5 days. Our bodies are adjusting and healing. Hang in there it will get better Summer
  13. Wow! Congratulations you must be feeling pretty awesome Summer
  14. I had a 5 day stall my second week post op. Just trust the process and follow your plan. It will pass. If you measure I bet you see that you have lost some inches even if you haven't slot anything on the scale. Sunmer
  15. I am glad your decision to be open about your surgery has mostly worked for you. Congratulations and I hope you have continued success on your journey! Summer
  16. Had hysterectomy with right salpingo-oophorectomy today. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Am feeling well and I am hoping to go home tomorrow. Doc said everything looked pretty good. I hope you all are doing well. Happy Holidays! Summer
  17. 1/4 cup per meal if I could even eat that much. Love love love these much smaller portions Summer
  18. Gosh Kathy that is awesome. You should be so proud of yourself. I hope next November I can say that I met my goal at a year out Congratulations! Summer
  19. Athena My first egg after surgery was the best egg I ever ate! This is just an incredible time in our lives. I am so happy I had this done. I was sleeved 5 weeks ago today and I am down 20 lbs! I hardly ever feel hungry and I am doing well with eating only the foods that are allowed. I hope everyone else is doing awesome. If you feel like bragging about your weight loss I would love to hear what you have lost! Summer
  20. My instructions from the surgeon state to take Prilosec for 6 months.
  21. I hope you have continued success. You have done an awesome job! Summer
