You look wonderful!! Congrats! I will be 5 weeks post op Friday 19th. How much have you lost at 5 months? I can't wait till I feel like going to the gym. I just still get so tired.

@@melliegates about 105 lbs.

It get better for sure. I really make sure I get my Vitamins, Water, and Protein in everyday, I think it helps with energy. I also increase my dosage of B12 in the morning and it gives me some energy. I needed something to replace the caffeine!

Best of luck!!!

I eat A LOT of protein!

I stick to a low carb/high Protein diet. No bad carbs at all (Pasta, sugar, flour, potatoes, bread, etc.) I am pretty diligent about that. I know that I'll probably get a lot of negative feedback but I don't eat a lot of fruit at this point either, only a few berries here and there. Honestly as soon as I finish with protein there isn't much room for anything else!

For the first 3 months or so I really tried to get all of my protein from food. Over the last month though (since joining the gym and working out 5 days a week), I started adding a few Protein shakes a day to get my protein up to about 110 grams a day.

Man! Sounds like compliance gets results! Keep up the good work!
