  6. Don't be afraid. You are still early out and things need to heal. You will be reassured. Reflux is a problem for me too. The first couple of weeks are difficult. I still worry about everything and I am 7 weeks out. You will be ok.

  12. Very interesting. If it resolves after eating it might be a new hunger signal. I have been trying to figure mine out. Do the pains come and go? Are they unbearable?
  13.    Chuckie reacted to a post in a topic: Need practical advice (long)
  14. I had tie cycles in January and my face reminds me of when I was 16.
  15. Might be reflux. Are you taking something for it? Like a ppi?
  16.    gal friday reacted to a post in a topic: What does your restriction feel like?
  17. Mine feels like a tight discomfort in the chest with a burp or hiccup. Tonight it took me 30 minutes to eat barbecue chicken (shredded and loaded with sauce). I had about 3.5oz of it. I feel satisfied not full. I don't want to cause real pain but I feel like I need to know it can happen. Thoughts?
  18. How far along post op are you? That's what I am aiming for. Not over full. I would describe my pain in the same way. More uncomfortable than pain and last about 2 minutes.
  19.    Pac-woman reacted to a post in a topic: What is your full signal?
  20. I think mine is light chest pain with hiccups about a minute later. I know I'm full then. About 2 minutes later my stomach feels full. What's yours?
  21.    nprcowboy reacted to a post in a topic: Heading back to ER again, prayers please
  22. I take reglan not because my stomach empties slow but because of reflux. Try that and then demand your surgeon do the test!
  23. I skipped eating at a Mexican restaurant with friends because of the food. I ate my tuna. ????????????????
  24. Today my co-workers had a potluck and I had two meatballs. Do you all know how hard it is to be around food? I'm not even hungry but everything smelled delicious. I am not sure I am eating enough. I wasn't full per se but my chest had a dull ache and I got a bit burpie/hiccupie. I don't know if that's full or not. Next time, in bringing soup.
