SCARED!
How do you feel about jello? I made some from scratch with unflavored unjury, unflavored gelatin, a kool aid packet, and truvia (you could use whatever sweetener you prefer). You could also try making your own Popsicles: vitamin water zero with unflavored unjury, or water and mio with unflavored unjury.

SCARED!
Have you tried an unflavored protein? Unjury makes a good one, you can't taste it at all.

Dizziness
I'm also about 4 wks out. I saw my doc last week and told him I'm often dizzy and get light headed when I stand up, he said it was likely from too little water and/or too little protein.

Meeting with sugeon
I made sure to ask how many years he had been doing the surgery, how many surgeries he had done, what is the complication rate among his patients, and what measures does he use to prevent complications.

Can't tolerate artificial sweetners
Are you able to tolerate truvia or stevia? I cant have artificial sweeteners either so I made my own jello, pudding, and Popsicles using truvia. For protein I use jay Robb protein powder.

Pre-Surgery Diet & Protein Powders
I'm very sensitive to artificial sweeteners as well so I understand what you're going through. Can you tolerate stevia? If so try Jay Robb protein powder. My favorite flavor is the strawberry but you can order a variety pack off their website which has vanilla chocolate strawberry orange piña colada and unflavored I believe. It's one of the only protein powders I've been able to find without aspartame or Splenda.

beginning week 2, full liquids, how do I get the needed protein
Have you tried the unflavored powder by Unjury? I add it to everything and as long as you don't heat it up too much you can't even taste it.

Greek Yogurt
I use unsweetened cocoa powder. It has no sugar and adds a bit more protein in also. No artificial ingredients too which is nice.

Psych evals
As long as you come off as being knowledgable and realistic about wls (it's not a quick fix, it is major surgery, etc.) you should be fine. I went in to the psych eval with a history of bulimia and after reassuring the doc that I am in a different state of mind now, I was cleared. Is there something specific you are worried about the doc asking you? Like something you don't know how to respond to?
