  1. So I had my surgery almost two years ago. For the last month I have felt terribly nauseous and not have come to the point where I can no longer eat. It feels like as soon as a swallow and it hits my stomach I need to throw up or will sit there endlessly dry heaving. I habe an upper gi and lower GI where they thought I had an intestinal fistula. I had a barium enema which didn't show that. No I'm scheduled for an endoscopy.it has ruined my life...some days I can't get out of bed. Anyone else ever experience this?
  2. Did u find it easier or Harder to lose weight after? Did everyone have it laparoscopically ?
  3. So I'm 8 months out from having gastric bypass. I was recently told after months of agony that my gallbladder has to come out. My gastric bypass surgeon will not be doing it. Has anyone that has had gastric bypass and their gall bladder out regretted getting it out? I'm told there is more risk associated after having gastric bypass, has anyone been told this as well? Just certainly don't want anymore complications. I'm scared to have a organ removed.

  11. So today I purchased my first bathing suit in over 20 years. Not because I wanted to but for my son. Wow I just stared at myself and felt really great. I am so much smaller but still wear big clothes all the time and tend to forget I'm not that person anymore. I have a long way to go but am hopeful this summer I can actually wear shorts. These legs haven't seen sun in forever!!! it just gives me so much motivation. I still have soooo much to go but am hopeful I can someday be comfortable in my own skin and see myself correctly.
  12. So I will be coming upon six months post op next month. Do you find yourself still losing consistently? I just have reached half way to my goal and still have a ways to go.and hope the weight loss will still be going strong.

  14. I have no idea what the treatment is .. hopefully just medication. Ur in syr?!? Omg that's so cool. I'm in Cortland!
  15. Sucks having all these problems when I'm still paying off my surgery. Do I forego these things and hope to improve or just stop eating? Hmmm
  16. So my surgeon thinks I might have ulcerative colitis. Going for a ct scan tomorrow and then he wants a colonoscopy. I really don't want to have all this bit hope if he finds what's wrong he can fix it. Feeling so uncertain about things. Seems to be one thing after the next and I'm feeling quite defeated and depressed today. Hope a good nights rest will help. I'm in upstate ny
  17. Maybe I'm like you and am having a reaction to certain foods late in the game. Tends to happen alot in the morning when nothing is in my stomach
  18. Maybe. U just haven't seen a particular correlation. I have been one of those lucky or rather unlucky people that can have sugar and certain foods and it doesn't bother me. I haven't eaten and still feel crampy but much better. At least I know what to do when I don't feel well. I'm gonna see the doc at 3 and hope to get some answers because I'm so sick of feeling this way. AmyC65 how much weight have you lost?
  19. Sometimes I wish he would have. When my surgery happened my surgeon had a surprise that I had intestinal malrotation which basically means my digestive system did not form properly. He had my connected incorrectly and then realized it and made the correction. I hope having this surgery done did not awaken something. Since last night I have had nothing but diarrhea tmi liquid and this morning there was lots of blood. Made an appointment and am going to try and get thru till then but I'm def freaking out
  20. Yah it's pretty scary stuff. I haven't had sharp pain. Somehow I figure If I haven't had a crazy amount of pain everything is ok.
  21. Noone has ever suggested actigall. My dr. Has never mentioned it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm nothing more than a number to him. I wonder if.im getting the care I need. He always wants to see me $$$ but never helps. Last week I had nothing but problems and wonder if it's related.
