    My doctor did tell me not to worry about the weight it will come off the main thing is to get your Protein and take your vitamins......but when you have weight loss surgery its hard not to be concerned with the amount your loosing

    What I learned from just being on here a short time is u can't base your situation off others everyone is different...I found myself doing that until I realized I'm not where I want to be but I'm also not where I was..besides I'd rather loose gradually to me it looks better

    Okay so I keep hearing about this 3 week stall what can I do to start loosing again? At my biggest I was 282 pre op I was 268 now I'm 255 which I have been stuck at since the 10 th... What should I do????

    Mashed potatoes, Beans, cream of any veggie you like! I really liked to eat tomatoe basil soup! And baked potatoe with a little bit of cheddar cheese! Good luck!!!!

    Hello my lovely people I'm on the pureed part of my journey....honestly I haven't pureed anything I have just been eating tuna...chicken in the can....cream of wheat etc....what are some other foods I can try?

    Thanks for that ...I thought I was going crazy lol because I have been on edge...... I did get beside myself when he put me on pureed foods so I'm going back to the basics of what I'm supposed to be doing....I need to stop being so hard on myself I started off 282 and I'm 255 now but I had lost some of that weight on my own

    I think the most useful advice I can give is: (1) follow the program completely, (2) buy Premier Protein shakes, (3) don't be too hard on yourself (4) recognize in the beginning it going to be hard to get liquids in but work hard at it, you're not going to reach your Protein goal but work at it and you may not feel like yourself (it's okay), (5) expect some type of emotional roller coaster (2 week out I yelled at the lady in the grocery store (this is so not me). She mixed up my groceries after I had been in the store for 2 hours reading ever single label and I hadn't eaten in a month - quite embarrassing!) - its okay, (6) enjoy seeing the pounds come off and take lot of pictures.

    Hello I'm New to this site and the sleeve I had my surgery on July 1 2014 I have lost 13 pds I was 268 the day if surgery and I'm currently 255.....honestly I have been nervous because it just seems like im not really loosing any weight

    Good grief, Cowgirl! That's a lot on your plate right now.
    Because I'm older than you, I'll share a few things I've learned in times of great familial stress, especially where others' healthcare is involved:
    1. When healthcare decisions must be made, no decision or solution will be perfect. We can only do our best to choose or recommend the best option from among all the other imperfect solutions.
    2. If the decision to be made is not ours, we should not try to take the decision out of the hands of those who are required to make it.
    3. If those who are making decisions are not making the "right ones" (the decisions we would make), we should still let them make their own decisions.
    4. I can't (and you can't) change anyone else or their opinions. I can only change myself and my opinions. And that's hard enough.
    5. The burdens I have taken on (because I didn't like how others were handling things) are burdens I eventually bitched about having to carry all by myself.
    6. Almost always, people are doing the very best they can do at the moment. In the future, they might be able to do better.

    I havnt read all threads but are u adding Protein Powder to ur Water, foods that it can be added in?? I have several scoops a day I add the unflavor to applesauce, soups, my ice tea, I'm making diffused water by adding strawberrys cut up, cucumber, mint leaves an just let it sit all day in fridge then add a teaspoon hee an there...or it in a cup of hot tea or my coffee in mornings. ..everything I can I add Protein. .hope this helps...I stalled about 4 days then all of a sudden it showed I dropped 4 more pds...I also use ketone stix to p on to see if I'm still burning. ..it helps me. ..
