Band to sleeve revision and pain
You are not alone! I even saw you other post about hysterectomy! We are twins....same day and situation! It's still very painful for me to move around! I feel my belly button about to rip open and right below my breast line painfully hurts....but I can say each day is better and better. I went for my check up Tuesday and I was approved to soak in Epson Salt for 20 and use heating pad and it has been heaven! I can honestly say it hurts to sit straight up so I roll and it hurts to walk without holding my stomach, so I hold it....But...IT HAS GOTTEN BETTER, TODAY IS ACTUALLY A GOOD DAY,

Looking for July Sleevers!
Wow! You've got to push! Well I will tell you I lost 10 lbs during my 2week preop diet. I was allowed one meal a day and 2-3 protein shakes as meal replacement meals and a lot of water! Good luck!

Different Doctors, Different Rules...pre and post op...
I've read a lot about different doctors requiring different things for the pre-op diet, some Clear liquids for 2 weeks, a month, one meal, no meal...all different, however, I haven't heRd much about post op. What does your post op diet consist of. I would like to see how different it us as well. My doctor has me on a 2nd week liquid diet, 3rd week soft food, 4thweek soft food and introduce myself to soft meats(ex.fish), 5th week and beyond....enjoy my new small tummy! How about you? Is there anyone out there different than mine? Are just about the same? Are you hungry? Easier pre or post?

Pre op
My preop was a protein meal replacement shakes and one low calorie meal, which included 3oz of meat and veggies and 2 snacks....and then after..post op was 2week all liquid, then soft foods. The pre was hard BC I was hungry but my post ( I'm 7days out) is ok BC I'm not hungry. But sick of these protein shakes! Congratulations and good luck!

What are you telling people?
I totally understand. I've always been the one to work out and diet....my story us I'm working out more and completely changed my diet...which us true. The extra is not needed. I just don't want ppl in my business. I guess my fear is if for some reason it doesn't work or I gain the weight back, I don't want to hear it. Not really fear....I just don't want to hear it!

how long was it until you were fully recovered? sleeping position?
Good question! 7 days out and I still struggle but I have found that laying on about 3 pillows helps me tilt a little on my sued, not completely but enough to be semi comfy! Surly better than laying on my back! Looking forward to be able to sleep however, whenever.

APPROVED!
First of all congratulations! I know the feeling! I am 7days out and it's the best decision I've ever made. Well, where do I stArt....first I had to complete a 2 week pre-op diet, which was 2-3 protein shakes and one meal but all doctors are different but just in case I would start sampling some protein shakes. Also, I found that having my husband and boys with me was helpful, especially because I live in a two-story. Also, I find getting in and out if bed and shower was hard the first couple of days. I was really sore and in pain....BUT I DONT REGET A THING,!!

2 months post transformation
of course, haha well I wouldn't really call it a routine because it changes sometimes. But i go to the gym 4 days a week and run for 20 minuets, and go through all the machines and do about 50 reps on each. And on the 3 days im not in the gym, im at home, i walk the dog at a fast pace for about 30 minuets and then im in my room doing pushups, squats... TONS of squats! Along with leg lifts, sit-ups, crunches, planks, inner thigh workouts, lunges, all about 50 times (more or less). Its hard work but the end result is worth the pain it takes. (: Never mind, I see your workout here! Lol....thanks...

5 months in and only 33lbs
I am thankful that you posted this because I realize I have to be mindful of what I eat, when I can eat.---I'm only 6 days out. I know how hard it is to stay on track but we've come a long way to turn back now. My question to you, because you're snacking so much, gave you experience the "dumping syndrome?"

Nausea after surgery
I am 6 days out and I haven't felt nausea yet. Although I am sore, some pain when I move, tightness when I walk but not nauseated at all.
-
What would you change?
Plication or Sleeve. Honestly I had never heard of plication until now....so if course I googled it. I couldn't imagine having my stomach pulled, folded and stitch as I say in the video. Like you stated, I would be afraid of found getting stuck somewhere it shouldn't. Maybe I'm just bias BC I have the sleeve...but good luck with whichever you choose.

To tell people or not to tell
The only person I told was my husband and my BFF. Truthfully the only reason I told my BFF is BC she's been through it so I knew she would understand. I simply didn't need ppl greeting into my head. I knew what I wanted to do and didn't want to hear any negativity. This will be forever my secret. I have always been the one to workout and go on these diets, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
