  1. I'm in the middle of week 4 and having the same problem. Shakes, water, food-it all makes me nauseous. I was going to try an iron free multivitamin for a week to see if that could be the culprit. If so I'll need to switch up how I get my iron. Plus it's been super hot here in Texas ( think 7th ring of hell)-food is the last thing I want to think about.
  2. My insurance excludes weight loss surgery so I was self pay for the most part. My surgeon does all inclusive VSG as outpatient for $8995. I did have a hiatal hernia so I paid $4,500 and the rest should be covered by insurance. I did have to do psych test (kind of a joke) and one meeting with nutritionist. That was it. Less than two months from informational meeting to surgery.
  3. Six or seven hours after surgery. Had surgery at about noon and left around 7-7:30 pm that same day. I drank my water, peed and walked so they kick you out!

  6. My company also excludes this surgery. We were acquired by another company 3 months ago who swore up and down that our coverage would be as good or better than our existing coverage (where this procedure was covered). Of course, everytime I call UHC I get a completely different answer, so who really knows!! UGHHH...............:faint:
