  1. Hi there, I'm so glad you posted. I was banded on 10/4/07 and have lost ~27 lbs since pre-op. I found out last night that I am pregnant and I'm scared. I know we're supposed to wait a year. This is an exciting suprise, but I'd love to hear from everyone on their experience. Has anyone gotten pregnant only 3 months post-op?
  2. Hi everyone, I'm so glad to hear that others are having the same issues. I was banded on Oct 4th and had no restriction with my first two fills (have a 14cc band) but now that I've had my 3rd fill I finally have a little restriction(total 8cc's in my band now). I've gotten sick a few times. I feel like with a little dedication and a few more fills, I'll be right where I need to be. I'm exercising 5-6 days a week. I know that the weight will come off soon. This chat site is so helpful. Thanks for the post. It's made me feel so much better. 332/299/286 Highest/Day of Surgery/Current
  3. Hi there, Okay, I have quite a few goals for this year, but let's just start with January. I had my surgery on October 4th. I've lost 20 lbs since pre-op. I think this third fill is finally close to my sweet spot! I exercise everyday, so my goal for January is to lose an additional 10 lbs. 332/299/287/175 Highest/Day of Surgery/Current/Goal 278 here I come! Happy New Year everyone!
  4. Hi Holly, I was banded Oct 4th as well Change
  5. Hi Lizziee, I was banded on the 4th as well. My gas pains are getting much better this evening. Today I was very uncomfortable, however not in any real pain. I've been sleeping a lot. Normally 3-4 hours at a time. I'm going to take a trip to the grocery store tomorrow to walk around a little bit. And, yes, I'm super thirsty as well. I keep sipping on water and mint tea. How are you holding up?
  6. Good luck. Please write if you have any questions. It wasn't bad at all. I'm only 1 day post-op so I'll try my best to keep you posted on what to expect!
  7. Hi there, Just got my band yesterday. I had a little nausea from the meds, but I'm feeling so much better today. I'm sore, but not in any real pain...thank goodness. I'm thirsty so I'm trying to keep hydrated with sips of Water. Let me know how you're doing. I hope everything went well for you.
  8. Hi, I have my surgery tomorrow at 11:00 AM. I'll try to post when I get back to let you know how it went. Good luck today and tomorrow!
