  1. I told my son my dr needed to look at my tummy. I already had been on a preop diet for months so he saw me losing weight and making better food and exercise choices. He has no idea exactly what happened he just knows my life is changing I'm healthier I eat less and exercise more.

    Supplements/vitamins make me sick

I tried celebrate vitamins rapid melt VIT d but makes me sick. I have b12 rapid melts I haven't tried yet. I'm getting vitamin levels tested tomorrow then I'll see how bad things are.

    Constipation !

I eat fruit for my two snacks a day. And at night I have a separate meal of just vegetables. Not what my doctor recommends but not hardly any calories and I have no problems at all. I don't take any extra fiber. Not a daily thing anymore but definitely not constipated.

    Supplements/vitamins make me sick

I'm going to try the liquid centrum next. My NUT doesn't support that choice or the tummies they say not enough nutrients as the chewable and oral pills but any things better than nothing that's my motto and right now I throw up half the time. Found liquid b1 also gonna try that with the liquid centrum.
  5. 2 1/2 months post op and my only complaint is not being able to get in all the recommended vitamins. Routinely throw up MULTI and b1. Chewable make me sick too. Gonna try liquid and hope for best????
  6. Never used any ready to drink shakes I didn't find any I liked. Purchased unjury chocolate flavor. Mix it with coconut almond milk in a shaker Took it on the go wherever I went. Heated up for hot cocoa. I went to IKEA and bought several metal tumbler cups with lids and they keep my drinks cold or hot first long as I take to drink them. And I use a thermos to take extra milk to work if I need it. I carry Genepro flavorless protein powder add to my water or oatmeal or crystal light.

    Loose skin

Weight training is very good for excess skin. Exercise and weights is the best thing you can do besides surgery.

    Low Vitamin D level

I'm required daily VIT d. I take two chocolate chews from CVS EACH IS 1000 iu. In addition to my MULTI which has 800 iu and my calcium which has 1000 iu. So it's important to have a stand alone VIT d supplement.

    Where are the November Sleevers?

I thought of it but I pulled out over 20 pants and 15 shirts I can wear now. I think once I'm belie a size 16 I will shop cuz that's the smallest size I win but it's also what I have the most of. Tons is skirts, jeans etc. I do need smaller shoes though mine are falling off. Happy for us!

    When to change clothing sizes?

I was sleeved 11-6-14 I am down 60 lbs 45 since surgery day. Just this past week I pulled all my storage bins with old clothes out and put them in piles by size. I tried on everything! Took hours but I found I can still fit in most my larger clothes???? ( wish they were so big I had to get rid of them) but not quite there yet. I did add 20+ pairs pants to the mix that fit now and more suprising was the shirts that fit now ! I put what is still to small into bins labeled them and I will try them in one month to see if I can introduce more old clothes. Hoping by then I have to get rid off my big clothes. Honestly only about 5 things are to big now to wear and that's because they were loose when I was at my heaviest! I'm saving my first "purchase outfit" ( real shopping ) for my 200 lb mark. Which is 35 lbs away. I'm praying in 6 weeks to 2 months I can go get that outfit! It will be a day to remember!

    Unflavored protein powder

I also use genepro almost daily in my morning decaf/sugar free coffee drink and I love it. I feel full enough til lunch and I to am still losing. Sometimes I put it in crystal light or oatmeal too.

    Where are the November Sleevers?

Good to hear from you! I finally went through my (smaller clothes) been stored forever. Happy to have shirts and pants that seem new since these coworkers have never seen them. I will be more excited I think when the bigger ones I usually wear are so big that I actually cannot wear them anymore! I want them falling off so I can throw them away and say never again. Never thought I'd feel thin at 235 lbs but I sure do. Can't wait to see what 150 feels like!
  14. I started classes in June 2014 then surgery was original set for Kate sort or early oct but I chose to wait til Nov. so June to Sept is a doable time frame just depends how much weight they want u to lose. Good luck!

    Where are the November Sleevers?

Checking in! I'm doing well. I'm down 45 lbs since 11-6-14 surgery day. Progress Definitely slowed down in dec because I ate things besides protein! But I am doing great. Only complaints are not being able to get in the recommended Vitamins (I throw them up several times a week) and still wanting to eat beyond what my body can handle. I find if I wait to long to eat I eat too fast and really I can only take in 3-5 bites. I continually take another and its to much. Wish I could figure out when to stop but I'm sure I will get there. Typical day is powdered coffee drink/sugar free, mixed in blender ball with GENEPRO Protein powder and hot Water. ---Then lunch is tuna with 1 tsp mayo and sometimes with a few wheat thins or a chunk of rotissirie chicken no skin or avacado and corn chips. ---Snack is yogurt or fruit. ---Dinner is chicken 1-3 oz and a bite or two of veggies. ---Sometimes I eat veggies seperate an hour before so I can eat a whole serving which my dr frowns on... But I love me some veggies!! --- pm snack is string cheese or fruit or whatever I want low calorie. Pretty much I have what I want just less of it and I choose protein more often than other things I used to have. Example used to love waffles with pbutter and syrup now I have half piece Dave's killer bread toasted with 2 tsp pbutter. Get grains and protein and it's like a treat????. I had some treats every day around Christmas so I had way more calories than normal but it hit the spot and one cookie or brownie or treat is a far cry from the pan of goodies I would consume in the past . I call it progress and real life. With exercise or walking the lbs just keep coming off. 60 lbs gone since starting program in June 2014. Praying to hit goal by June but I will continue to be happy with any weight loss as it's all a success. How bout the rest of the November sleevers?
