I had surgery 6/24/14 and I take my Vitamins and B12 but I stay tired all the time.... does anyone else?

I guess I'm vain as well, I mean I have been over weight since I was a very small child... I've never really known what it was like to go shopping and having fun I was wearing adult clothing while I was in elementary school, I was always made fun of even by the only boyfriend I ever had at the time. I was always embarrassed never had cute clothes always tried to make my hair look good though and I even had people comment I had a beautiful face and gorgeous hair but what's that matter when no one still never pays you attention? I got pregnant in 97 with my oldest child and the dad never even cared and later that year my ex husband and I got together he loved me no matter what but we were better friends than a married couple, we did have 2 more children though before we parted ways well we will never part ways but before we got our divorce.... I was looking into gastric bypass then and it's finally happened I waited 11 years I'm just glad it's finally here..... And I can get on with looking good, feeling good, spending quality time with my children, worshiping in church like I want too, I am ready to come out of my shell and be me so yes I'm vain

The company is Walden Farms and there products don't have any fat, any calories and no cholesterol.
They make dips, spreads, sauces, dressings, syrups.< /strong>
Another company is Kay's Naturals for chips, cereals, Cookies. These all have 12 grams of Protein in each serving.
The products from these companies that I have tried are very enjoyable.

Thank you all!!! Today has been tolerable pain wise...but I am pushing through the pain!! It hurts really bad when I get up to use the restroom and walk around!!! I can only manage to walk the length of my house twice then the pain is really bad!

Ugh, I'm so nervous and yet so excited! I am just afraid of all the potential "issues" - complications, food/water not sitting well/coming up, the pain etc... And sometimes I freak out that this will be no different than when I lost 50 pounds (I need to lose about 120) on my own, and stalled out. So worried, so scared, and at the same time SO HOPING for a quick recovery and major success!

I'm sure you're upset and for sure wondering what's going on with the weight loss. My mom stalled but was loosing inches. Maybe it would help the nerves by switching focus from pounds lost to how great of a job you are doing each day by sticking to your guidelines and exercise, and making heathy choices. I'm sure you're already doing this though keep up you're awesome work! You're body will heal up and things will start balancing out too. You've done a lot to get to where you are now keep that hard work flowing forward

Does anyone else feel like they are dying with this liquid diet? I can eat things like SF Jello and popsicles, cream Soups strained which I hate, Tomato Soup which I love, yogurt, and Water n Protein Drinks but its hard watching everyone eat stuff I would normally eat with them even though I don't mind what they it gets hard and yes I want this surgery very bad and do ing my best... Is Anyone else having a hard time ?

My husband and I were trying and our 3rd cycle we did it! I just found out 7/3 with a hpt that I am pregnant. I tested everyday since then today being the last test( which of course was positive) and a missed period! .. this is my first time so I am still in disbelief We have an appointment with the OB/GYN on thursday I am so excited!!

Anyone that wants them can have them. They vary from dressy to casual, tube tops to tank tops etc. Some of them I never wore.

This is my 4th day and I have a bit more energy today. I'm tired of phase 1 liquid only, but l know it's worth it and I'll make it. sugar free Popsicles are my best friend now. Trying to wean off of the pain meds so I can get around in my own, but it's hard with 6 stab wounds in your abdomen and a G-tube hanging from your tummy. Overall, I'm excited with the changes to come...hope you guys are too

Please get this abscess looked at ASAP! so that it does not burst and you go septic....Right now I have a drain that is trying to collapse a pocket on my left side under my rib cage. Been there for 5 weeks now....Hoping it will be a success soon!

I don't know. it takes time to recover and build up again. Your going to get it all back. Have patients little one...
I was in a coma for 19 days as a complication of this surgery and I can no longer sing at all. no longer can reach the high notes due to a trach. Be glad you will get there and very soon..
I did not make my living singing but it meant the world to me to be able to sing....

I am over the 50+ too and have the waddle to wattle and I don't see plastic surgery in my future for I would have to pay for it...so I will have to learn to live with it...that is the least of my worries...I don't do turtlenecks and only scarves in the winter, so it is well worth it when I can look at the rest of me and see the lose elsewhere!!! So if folks look and continue to stare I will just gobble and strut my stuff for them...hehehehehehehehehe!!!

Oh man, I cannot Believe LilMissDiva Irene isnt 25 years old! What? I always just assumed you were unusually wise for your young age! You are still very wise and clever, I just understand now that there is more experience behind the wisdom;)
My answer: fat, unhappy, hypertensive and in pain, especially my back. I just went running this morning for the first time in 20+ years. What a bloody power trip THAT was!

it's probably the acid...we were instructed to stay away from citrus (even in juice...which they told us not to have at all) because it will upset the tummy... you are still healing from the inside out, so the acid probably caused an adverse reaction... you may be able to have some later...but, for now, hold off...

Hi Pals, I had an appt today and confessed and he checked me out and I'm fine. I had my one week post op a day early because of their holiday week schedule and I'm down 7 lbs since surgery. Yay!!! I'm psyched!!! But I was ALSO TOLD I CAN HAVE Cheese!!!!!! Laughing Cow creamy lowfat cheese wedges. I had two and I was in HEAVEN!! Lol
