My fills are a littel diffrent than Mandypoo's. My dr. makes me drink this liquide stuff while taking an x-ray. than I lay on the table he sticks me once and than takes another x-ray to comapre the speed the liquied goes down before and after the fill. It is very fast and there is no pain.

When I get stuck I know it right away. Sometimes it lasts a few minutes and sometimes it last as long as an hour. Drinking some water makes it even worse.

I was on Glucophage for about a year while trying to get pregnant. It was hard at first for about 6 weeks(diarrhea) but after that I liked being on it. It lowered my blood pressure and made my eyesight better. I did not however lose any weight while on it.

I had matza last night and it was fine. The matza balls in the soup I only tasted one bite because I was afraid of it getting stuck. I am just sticking to chicken and veggies for the most part.

I had my 4th fill this week and I am finally feeling restriction. My dr. is very conservative and goes very slow with the fills. I hope with this restriction I can finally start losing some real weight. Wish me luck!

I also had a hernia repaired during my lap band surgery. Since that day I have yet to have any heartburn or acid reflux!. Good luck to you on your journey.

My dr. makes us wait three months for the first fill and I had mine today. I was so scared but it was easy breezy no big deal at all. I have lost 15 lbs since my surgery and am so excited now that I can start having a fill every month until I am where I need to be!:clap2:

Hi Crystal- I got banded on 9-17-07 but my dr. won't fill for 3 months so yesterday I joined Weight watchers and I will be going to the weekly meetings. I am ready to eat healthier and am ready to loose weight now. As of now I have no restriction so I am hoping WW will help me out for now.
