  1. I think there is one... Holy Load, Batman. My morning is complete.
  2. I got your PM and I gotta say: I want your job. I would love that sh!t. Honest...I'm gross and love bloody stuff. WHAT THE HELL DID I MISS??? Do tell...? PM? Yeah...the whole - we're here for support gets wiped out with questions that you really SHOULDN'T ask strangers. That's a doctor question - period.
  3. As an avid gamer geek, I agree with Kartman. Illuminati run the world.
  4. You are on a roll! Love it!!! Ooooh...Waiting for answer to that one! Hey! Watch it! Can I be a fan of all of the above? I guess she got the answer she wanted and is getting busy! This is a tough one...I'd talk to your doctor first.
  5. Heading home...going to go to the gym...just do something simple because I'm tired and really just wanna go home. Waaah.
  6. Beth, I'm still trying to figure out how to put the c25k podcast on my blackberry. Anyone...?
  7. I'm glad I'm not the only one snickering at that whole thing. I mean, c'mon - PAHLEEZE.
  8. If you're Swedish, apparently, it's okay. If you're dumb, then NO.
  9. I wish I were back in San Antonio. I love the riverwalk and I love being in that city.
  10. *tip-tapping...left shoulder, sneaks around right shoulder and swipes trophy from taps...
  11. Morning all. Ebony - great accomplishment on the goal! :bored: You're doing so well, even though things are stressful! Congrats! I joined up on the cool running website...myactive.com, I think. I'm restarting the c25k program, only I'm at week 3. Week one and two are already kinda easy, but week 3 kicks my butt. So, I'll work on that. I'd love to be a runner one day! Kat - yay...a new baby. I am definitely at the point in life where I love other people's babies, then love being able to hand them back when I'm done or they get cranky! PJTP - Just got called into a meeting that I am totally unprepared for. I hate being out of the loop, but then called in to make the bosses look good. I AM good, but damn it, some head's up please!
  12. drive by: good morning!
  13. Ebony, I'm soo sorry that you're going through this crap. HOWEVER, I KNOW you are smart enough to spin that on your interviews. When I first moved to TX, my boss was HORRIBLE. I think she must have had some mental issues...I think I've posted about her before. I worked there from June to Aug and one day just put a sticky on her computer and walked out. In my interviews, it was very easy for me to say that there was a conflict in managment and it was best that I move on. I think that the good bosses are people oriented enough to know that if you have a GREAT history and ONE bad boss, then it's not you, it's the boss. HA!
  14. Seeing HP this weekend! I'm excited. I think I have celeb crushes on the weirdest folks. I like Prof Snape. I felt sorry for him in the books and I'm an underdog kinda gal! Him and Spock (the new one) and I'm swooning at the movies.
  15. LOVED Marley and Me. The movie, like usual, didn't do the book justice. And, as Arthur, I loved it when she says to him: "Give me your hand." And he replies, "But, then, that would only leave me with one." I didn't realize they were from books. I've read and heard all about True Blood but I. Can't. Like. Another TV show!! Ack! Too many boob tube moments now! My favorite Anne Rice book is A Feast of All Saints. Heart wrenching! I love the Eye of the World series by Robert Jordan and was devastated to hear of his passing. He didn't finish the series, so his wife will work with another author to finish that last book. I'd been reading that series for 20 years! Another series that I recommend is the Belgariad. A softer version of the Eye of the World. Oh, and Ender's Game! I cried sooo hard at the end of that one. I know it's an old thread, but I love to read! I just wish I had more time.
  16. :) How? How did I miss this? I literally have coffee out the nose from this one. WHEN will I learn not to read Plain's posts until after drinking/eating!?
  17. It needed hijacking! I agree with HH 100% - you are strong! I just hate seeing children go through stuff like that. Kids and pets are my weaknesses, and I always try to prevent/help any pain that they're in. (Everyone else can suck it! lol)
  18. G4E - I know what you mean! I hate not being able to "do anything" because of medical stuff. You just want to say, "let me do it!" But, you're doing good not to give in. I'm here...at work. My lazy co-worker isn't. The chatty/touchy one is, though. Why can't I scientifically combine them and take the cool, calm and fun-loving from the lazy chick and the dedication, honesty and intelligence from the touchy one?
  19.:thumbup: I am so happy for you guys!
  20. Like this. Like me. I'm the winner.
  21. Corliss, thanks for not judging me.
  22. LOL. I wear them for COMFORT, thank you.
  23. I know I do sound like a lush, but I think I'm tipsy. On a Wednesday, too! Geesh. I made a strooong margarita and it went down very nicely. G4E - sorry about your tire!!! bummer! At least it was in the driveway and no towing costs were incurred. Birth scared the crap out of me when I was preggers, and when they found out there were issues and they had to do a C-Section, I was SO HAPPY!!! I am a big 'ole baby.
  24. Oh, I'm sooo sorry for what he's going through. Poor little guy! You have a lot of good thoughts and prayerscoming your way! (yeah, prayers - they can't hurt, right?! lol) Keep us posted, and if you need support for anything (well, not MJ love - BUT ANYTHING ELSE you have it!!!
