Did your success trigger people you know to have surgery too?
YES OMG after people seeing me and hearing me gloat about how happy I am how great I feel, 4 co-workers and 2 personal friends have gotten sleeved and another one JUST went for his first check up last week!! I feel so happy for them and so proud and I constantly coach them. They too tell me all the time how I was their inspiration, what a great feeling!

My Hair :(
I'm 9 months post-op and I have a LOT of hair, well used to... my hair too is thinning out big time and brittle so I started 1000 mg Biotin two weeks ago and my doctor said that is fine and that my new hair should be growing out now due to the fact that I am getting more Protein in. I hope so. Even my ponytail looks skinny now lol!

Feeling weak... need motivation... :)
YUP I can relate and I too am guilty of being "bad" in the last few weeks --- I turned it around this week when I saw I gained 2 lbs! NO WAY I said to mysefl!! Indulge if it makes you feel better -- ONCE but don't make a habit of it. Pull out an old picture of the "bigger" you and I guarantee that will make you eat a teaspoon of Peanut Butter, rather than munch on something less healthy and full of cabs and calories. Good Luck to us, we CAN do it!! We've come too far....!

Any research on changing relationships?
Hmmm... it's all about jealosy.... Wait till the weight starts coming down ... then you'll REALLY see it then. I have family members as well as coworkers treating me very differently too. I shrug it off. You just go about your happy self with this tremendous decision that will change your life -- for the better and not mind the opinion of others my dear. I choose to IGNORE those who either used sarcasm or negativity towards my WLS and I am just too happy to deal with that.

Best tasting protein shakes?
Premier has the MOST Protein and that's what you really need to look for --- sure taste is definetely important but we need our protein intake. To me, besides it having the most protein, I like them the best!

Surgery was on 1/12/15
YES very common, you'll be much better in about 7 days or so.... in the meantime, make sure you walk walk walk walk, it's TRULY the only thing that helps. Good Luck! You'll feel better in no time and your pounds will begin to slide off.

2 month stall
YUP, 2-month stall completely normal. Up your calories a bit then in a few days, continue your strict regimen and the pounds will continue sliding off.... good luck, don't get discouraged, the weight will plunge off from then on.
