My imagination or am I really hungry?
I too would confuse it, I would have a string cheese to calm what I though was "hunger" but when my doctor prescribed me the anti acid med, it helped a lot.

What’s Your Halloween Plan?
I've been REALLY good for the past 5 1/2 months but I have been craving my fave candy bar which is Kit Kat but I KNOW I can only have a little bar (1/4 of the candy) and that's it. Looking forward to that treat.

Not bad!
What a jerk. A LOT of schooling but apparently, no social skills. Don't let him get a rise out of you, he's obvious ignorant.

post op time off from work
I work in an office too, I took 4 weeks off and glad I did. Even though I felt really pretty good after 7 days, I'm glad I took all that time because I got my "food intake" in order, did all my walking so my gas pains were all gone and when I returned to work 4 weeks later I was feeling GREAT!!!!!!!!! That's just about the time I got all my energy back and was about 20 lbs less!
-
Stall at 1.5 weeks post-op-seriously?
Completely normal. You will have stalls here and then and in between the weight loss will be on a daily basis. Don't get discouraged, it does come off, walk, sip Water, make sure you're taking your Protein.
-
Depressed
Awww, sorry to hear but don't worry, it DOES GET BETTER! Remember to walk, remember to continue to take small frequent sips of Water and PROTEIN! I bet in another week you'll start to feel really great! Good Luck!
-
So tired. Normal?
Yes very normal but it does change, probably in about 2 more weeks.... then your energy level will be ridiculous! You'll be like the energizer bunny. Good luck, stay positive, keep walking and drink that Protein and sips of Water -- very important!! and walk walk walk walk!
-
I am sleeved
Good luck. Remember to walk walk walk walk walk.....that's really the only thing that makes the gas pains go away. Gas X helps, but nothing like walking! Don't worry, you'll be just fine in a couple of days. It gets better then before you know it, those pounds will come sliding down. Stay positive, all good things to come!!
-
Will I ever feel better?
YES it DOES get beter -- and that will happen within the next few days, you'll see.... and after like 3 weeks, you're like NOTHING and the weight is by then sliding off and you'll feel better and better and better each passing day! Good luck, say positive and walk walk walk -- it makes you feel better!

Were you allowed to take a shower in the hospital.
Not me. I went home the day after (1 day in the hospital) and then yes I was allowed to shower, while not scrubbing where the surgical tape was.
