  1. We all slip up! The "habit" eating is the toughest to overcome. Take it as a learning experience. You have now disproven "one small bite won't hurt." :D Hopefully enough time has passed & you feel a little better now. Take a walk, sit in a chair (do NOT lie down ;-) ). Tomorrow is a new day. You've got this!!

  2. I lived on coffee pre-surgery. Post-surgery I was allowed coffee in moderation for the first 6 months or so. Actually, I found I couldn't drink it the first few months - it hurt my tummy. I would have a few sips to satisfy my morning "itch" and that was it. I did, however, find that I LOVED the Chike Iced Coffee Protein mix!

These days I'll have several cups of coffee a day, but some days I still can only drink one. So, depending on your plan - I wouldn't worry about giving up coffee forever. Good luck!!

  3. I didn't use the Gas-X in the hospital, but used them quite a bit after I got home--popped a strip and walked lol.

My hospital had two different socks, one was much heavier than the other. See if they have a heavier set for you. I just used the socks, but I did see some patients walking in their slippers so the rules must vary.

    Good luck!!!
