Brilliant, what a buzz

Well I'm a week out from the 8th and thankfully each day has got better.
First few days bad then badish but manageable nothing I couldn't handle, besides I was too tired to cry. Slept loads, in fact all day Tues and wed.
The hotel in Belgium was great but my room was above where the smokers went and in Europe cigs smell like cigars, awful.
Travelling on two flights by myself was okay though majorly sick between flites.
At home drinking tea as Water made the bile rise and drinking cuppa Soups, avoiding anything fruity as too acidic.
Lost weight but at this point don't care as still getting head round that I want to eat...
So my mantra is keep moving forward and one day at a time.

Bloody marvelous madam reverie you are a scarily intelligent person but you still made me grin.
Now should I start a new post about the virtues of boredom or the restriction of meltdowns.
Maybe you should read a magazine lol, there's a brilliant one called focus about lots of clever things.

My rant today, I'm a newbie well not actually true as I'm sat in the airport waiting to be a newbie and I love these threads. I've read everything twice but who doesn't love a rant.
Remember another day and another hour you could feel the love, it was just on this particular day the thread bearer had a Protein meltdown and rather than make sour lemonade she made a... well not actually sure what this would be called but I like it lol.
Secondly parisshel I could batter u, fancy telling me that Ryan gosling has big ears, I'm too scared to look at the thumbnail president rev sent me. Though does the saying about big feet equate to big ears in which case I would hug u as you've given me a new happy thought as they put me under, well I know what my kids look.

Another post so soon but I'm sat in airport waiting for connecting flight ready for op tomorrow and can't stop going to toilet.
I'm not nervous just tired, I'm hot and my feet hurt and just swigged a huge bottle of Water.

Even more confused now, but that fecal transplant story, bloody amazin and that driving bitch, what a cow, I like to think I would have been dignified but the range of moods I have I wouldn't be that lucky, ah the horror.
And I didnt dream about ryan gosling but now ive seen the thumbnail I can live in hope sigh

It would be great if it goes straight through and would be chuffed for you BUT if the game plan changes it's still ok, you most probably already had an epic journey, yep gonna use that word, your still getting it done it's just the date might change.

Bloody typical by the time I get to sit down and read the threads and yes some are so... never mind dont want the wrist slap I get to this one and have to go to bed.
If I get time with my 5 days away I may read this thread from the beginning.

Posted this to a friend elsewhere. 'Scuse the language. Goat1 is my 15 year old.
So today, I was sitting up at the bus stop waiting for Goat1 to get off the bus when this ^%#%*^% #%## pulls up to me with her window down and says that she wants to talk to me about something.
(A little background. Her daughter and mine have been going to school together since the 4th grade, now in 10th. Her daughter is totally a mean girl and has bullied my daughter on and off since they met. We are not friends and I've never said a word to her about ANYTHING because I knew if I did, I would knock her ass out for raising such a %^^##% for a child.)
Anywho... She says to me, "I just wanted to mention that I've noticed that you run that red light up there every day."
(WHAT!?!?! You mean the one with the fucking POLICE STATION at it? In my company car?? UHMMMMM.....NO! I went through a really late yellow once last week and was horrified because I noticed it way too late. Something I am sure everyone has done at least once.)
Me: What!?!?
Her: Yeah. We have new drivers and you are in front of me every day and the kids in my car want to know why you run the red light every day.
(My goat has play practice or work 4 out of 5 days, so she is almost never on the afternoon bus.)
Me: Uhmm....No, I don't.
Her: Yes, you do. My daughter is starting to ask me questions about it and you really need to realize that we have new drivers and they are watching everything we do.
Me: (totally dumbfounded and trying to contain my Mexican) So, yeah. I don't have any tickets or accidents and I don't run that light every day. If I did, I am sure my child would point it out to me.
Her: Well, if you could just watch what you do, because my new driver certainly is!
Me: I'll talk to Goat1 and ask her if she's noticed this.
I rolled up my driver window, called a bestie and ranted about this %^^%# %%%#% %^%# knowing full well she could hear me. Our kids have another two years together so I contained myself to the best of my ability, but let me just tell you I was so ^%#%^ close to getting out of the car and dragging her ass out of it, too.
%%^%#^ bitch, if you don't like the way I drive, call the police. If I am driving in a manner in which you don't approve, use me as an example of what NOT to do. Outside of that? Keep your %^^}# opinion to yourself or shove it up your %^%#. For realz. And yes, I will be saying that to her next time I see her.

For this, sadly, I have no idea. Any time that word has come up, there's been a dearth of people arguing over the semantics in meaning. All very time consuming and deeply unhelpful.
I mean this sincerely - why not drop Alex a line. Its a valid point. Its a valid topic. Maybe somewhere, someone who is qualified in it, can provide some robust CBT exercises that we could all try to practice. I know I'd certainly give it a go

What I try to keep in mind is that I know what can go wrong but I'm not going to let fear of the unknown or maybes stop me starting this adventure and opportunity pass me by.

Hi green eyed girl - stop and take a breath, then another one.
ive read ur posts and uve really thought this procedure thru so this is just something else you will look up and investigate.
I personally need to take starflower oil for hormones and zinc and magnesium for intense periods so I know my diet of the future will need to be high in these.
I know someone who had bypass and she now has B12 injections and various Vitamins and she just gets on with it and shows no sign of malnutrition.
I had a wobble a few days ago so maybe this panic is normal cause I was freaking but now I've moved on and I've stored my cocerns about gerds and put in notes for the future.
This is a great adventure and we have to do our homework but we can do this
