  1. I'm trying to take all advice on preventing hair loss!
  2. I was so excited to have scramble eggs but not those egg beaters I had a real egg softly scrambled with a little milk at 2 weeks post surg chewed it extra good! Then had tuna . But I still drink a shake every morning
  3. This is only my 3rd week after sleeve. I guess I have already reached my weight loss stall! I'm eating very little carbs mainly just protein and I've started walking a mile every morning ! I hope this doesn't last long!
  4. Stay, it's for the best. You won't be able to drink a lot and they will have you on IV fluids .
  5. They served me coffee in the hospital at every meal, but I'm not a coffee fan .
  6. Just wondering about how much and what are people eating on a typical day 3 weeks after sleeved .
  7. I really like the premiere vanilla hakes from SAMs club sometimes I add some caramel or coconut flavoring to change it up !
  8. I had many the first week then it can't to a stop and I had cramps so took 2 stool Softener And it helped I also bought milk of mag for a back up plan! !
  9. What chewable vitamins are you sleevers using ?
  10. I was sleeved on the 7 th and I can only get an average of 55 oz of fluid and 60 gr protein . I woke up early today to try and dink more
  11. My routine for preparing for sleep is a dose of Tylenol , and a gas strip, even though I'm not hurting I'm trying to avoid it from waking me up. I'm in the recliner sour rounded by pillows .sometimes I put an ice pack on my belly for about 20 min . My pillow is in the shape of a 7 and has been a godsend !!
  12. I was sleeved on the 7th I can now drink 2 rote in shakes. The premier vanilla from SAMs club taste like homemade ice cream they r very very good. 30g of protein each
  13. Gabby5391 I also have a pain on right side and today was the first day I got hungry. I had mine on the 7th . I had 1/4 c of watery cream of wheat and I felt better after that.
  14. Jennifer2575 I also hurt on the right side. I'm glad I'm not alone. It does help to walk. Each day it gets better but today I sneezed. Holy cow the Water works came out and I was crying it hurt so bad. Other then that I'm doing pretty good with fluids and Protein. Today was the first day I made my goal. It's been 6 days since sleeved . Sw 262 Post surgery 241 today 232
  15. Micheal read I haven't reached my 64 oz fluid goal yet either . I was sleeved on the 7th . I've been getting up early and start sipping and each day I'm able to get more in . Yesterday I was up to 48 . I can tolerate vitamin water best. I won't be on protein shakes until Monday . I also liked the chicken soup unjury with protein .
  16. Wondering how people who got sleeved this month are doing? I was sleeved Monday . I have a nagging pain on my right side and I'm constantly walking and sipping . Can't sit comfortable in a chair. Laying on back, walking, or standing is how I get through the day .
  17. I had my sleeve Monday I stocked up on unjury products. So far the only protein I get down is the unjury chic soup . I really like my lemon squeezed vitamin water . When u pack your bag throw a couple in there .

  19. I'm being discharged now! I was sleeved Monday . It's hard getting the fluids in and my belly is soar but I'm hoping each day gets a little better
  20. It's now Day 2 the nurses where checking vitals every hour last night I had warm electric leg compressions was given a dose of blood thinner in my stomach to prevent blood clots this morning . My morphine pump is gone and I'm on IV Tylenol . I took my swallow test and past . I have now been instructed to drink one ounce of fluid every 15 min. My tray had unsweetened tea beef broth unflavored unjury and sf Popsicle . Too tired to look at laptop . I am not hungry i am only soar on the larger incision on side. And my throat is a little soar.
  21. Lambeautiful yes it was laparoscopic. I haven't had any headache YET . When I walk or talk a lot the gas moves and u get nausea . They wake me up every hour to take my vitals and have me take 10 deep breaths. I take my swallow test later today . I'm a Winnie to pain and as of now this hasn't been as bad as I had prepared . I have 6 small cuts and only the one on my side hurts when i move or try to vomit .will update later!
  22. My experience so far. The surgery took 1.5 hrs. The worst was waking up in recovery. The pain was excruciating but my nurse was quick in giving me pain meds . It lasted about 30 minutes. So far my comfort comes from my heating pad I'm moving up and down my back for pain, Chapstick , and an ice pack the nurse put behind my neck. I have a few hiccups and nausea spells. My mouth and tongue are dry so take a wet rag and wipe them with it and sucked a drop water out of it to try to moisten tongue. I have walked a fe steps with no problem . I will update tomorrow

  24. I'm preparing a few 2oz cups of sugar free jello. I mixed jello and added one scoop of unflavored unjury protein and 2 tbsp of liquid vitamin I divided into 6 portions ! This is for when I return home from surgery . Im determined to get my protein and vitamins in to prevent hair loss
