      I've done that a few times myself. My Surgeon never gave me a goal weight. He left that all on me to decide. Maybe he didn't want to pressure me at the time with numbers. Congratulations to hitting your first goal weight or close to it. :)

      Thanks @Jim1967. No goal weight from Doc either. So I went with a number that I hadn't seen since college. Now that I'm almost there, I feel like I can go further. Yay!

    7 months out and pace of weight loss is picking up again after some slowing last 2 months. Yay! Just about to hit 100 lbs lost.

    Have lost 40 lbs since Pre-op diet and not one soul has noticed (except me). I don't mind it though, I dread any attention to my weight at all.

      sorry no one has said anything, they may have noticed, just not sure how you would respond if they said anything, since you dread attention about your weight...they'll be noticing really soon, so get ready for some compliments. 40 lbs that is GREAT HumanMerelyBeing!!!

      I didnt get comments until I lost about 70 lbs. Then I hated getting them. They always came with: what are you doing?. Didnt care about having to come up with "stories", but didnt want to share my wls with all that asked.

      I had a 3pm surgery, was out of hospital by 3pm next day. It will pass. Best wishes.

      I had a similar problem until I asked recently as there is no "help" here... you go to the forum that you want to post at itself...like "gastric sleeve success stories" when you open that, you will see all the postings and to the right you will see "start new topic" good luck

    Insurance approved yesterday! Surgery scheduled for Feb 4th. Can't believe it - I was feeling so frustrated after a few delays and now I am starting my pre-op 10 day diet on Saturday!! WOW! Here I go!

    Delay after delay! I went to the seminar in July 2013. Then I completed psych, cardiac and 4 nutrition visits. Then I found out I needed a special clearance from the PCP who doesn't seem to understand what is needed and has caused over 1 month delay. This is the last thing that has to come in before insurance can be engaged. At one point, I thought I would have the surgery before the end of the year. Now, March is looking iffy. Feeling frustrated - will this ever happen?
