  1. Where do you buy it?? The Vitamin Shoppe has it in stock in stores and online. I think you can buy it on Amazon as well.
  2. Best wishes to you as you resume your weight loss journey.
  3. The Vitamin Shoppe stores and many convenience/grocery stores selling single RTD protein drinks.
  4. The mango peach Isopure is pretty good.
  5. You look amazing. Keep up the excellent work.
  6. Garden of Life's Raw Meal Chocolate Cacao is my favorite non-whey protein. It's brown rice protein. It tastes pretty good.
  7. I attended my first insurance required Nutrition Class today. It was an absolute snooze fest. I felt like I was present in a middle school health class. I left feeling as if it was a 90 minute waste of my time. I certainly hope that the next 5 classes aren't as mundane. June 11 is the last class. That date seems so far away. I'm sure the time will whiz by,but I just wish that the classes were not a requirement.
  8. I complete my 6 months of nutrition and education classes on June 11. I'll likely be a late June or early July sleever.
  9. I missed this comment. Non scale victory does make more sense.
  10. Why is it called a "Non-Surgical Victory"? It's because of the surgery that the success was achieved.
  11. It ends at Level 515. I beat that easily. New levels were just added to Dreamworld. I'm stuck on Level 73 there.
  12. I became addicted to this game, but I haven't paid $50 bucks a month. I've blown cash trying to beat every level of this game, but it wasn't that much. I beat the game, so I'm as obsessed anymore. Thank God...I didn't want to spend anymore money. lol
  13. I can't wait. I avoid sex now because of my weight. It's just too much of an effort and I hate tiring out quickly. I look forward to long and GREAT sessions. I'm giggling just thinking about it. lol
  14. The iPad app leaves much to be desired as well. I usually log in from my laptop.
  15. My friend had had the gastric sleeve, and she still eats all of the foods that you listed. I believe the key is eating them in moderation. I can't imagine living without avocado! lol
  16. I've been deciding on surgery for about 2 years now. Back in 2011, I began pre-op requirements to have the Lap-Band surgery. I stopped due to a career change and insurance complications. I didn't think much again about having WLS until I started doing research on the Gastric Sleeve this past fall. I made the decision to have surgery in December. I attended a seminar and was scheduled for a consult 2 days later. I began my 6 month nutrition program this month. I'm excited and nervous for what's to come. There is nothing hindering me this time around.
  17. Highmark BC/BS requires 6 monthy visits in a supervised Bariatric program. The classes should be 30 days apart. My scheduled classes aren't all 30 days apart, but my coordinator advised that I shouldn't worry about that. The classes are set, and it's impossible to schedule them 30 days apart.
  18. That's awesome! I'm still pre-op and have a ways to go. I'm likely to be a Late June or July sleever. What did you have to do to get approved?
  19. My food funeral will be for Fried fish, sesame shrimp & hoagies. I'm kinda dreading the "no bread" thing. I know that I'll be able to abstain though.
  20. I have a guy friend that I have been seeing, and he doesn't want me to have surgery. He told me that if I lose a lot of weight, then he won't like me. I think that's code for "I'm afraid you're going get skinny and leave me for another man." I told him that he could do me a favor and move on now, because I'm having the surgery for ME.
  21. Best wishes to you and your husband!
  22. They're pretty comparible. Quinoa has slightly fewers carbs than brown rice and it has more Protein than rice also.
