Quinoa anyone?

Anyone have had quinoa? I've read that it's very high in protein and in fiber. I'm a month out I'm on soft solids and would like to make some . I'm not sure if this would be ok though. Quinoa is new to me. I found a lot of recipes that look pretty good. Does anyone have any experience with it? Please share =)

I've been wondering about this recently as well. How is the carb content in Quinoa? Is it comparable to rice or less?

Also some kinds you need to rinse well before cooking or they can be a little bitter. They can substitute for rice or couscous. Nice!
