My Endocrinoligist said it should help,but if not there are other ways like metformin medication . hopefully the surgery itself will.. 3 months put nd nothing yet. sorry.

My mom was so against it. i haven't seen her since my surgery. in Dec.. it hurts but we are taking care of us.good luck with ur sis! hope things get better .

I want to first thank God nd my surgeon ! Then take a family portrait (been shopping for frames already ) Play basketball,baseball See the ocean for the first time.wear a cute suit the Doc i work for said when i reach goal she'll buy me that artic jacket I've been wanting !!yay! She keeps say "u need new clothes lets go shopping " lol.. i keep saying not yet.

I had it 1 month out it was delicious .just chewed nd chewed a lot. ate slow to make sure it agreeded with my stomach.

Hi DeAnna, My surgery was Dec16th13.i had lost 15 lbs before surgery then i was 3weeks post op nd lost 18 lbs then the forth week past nd nothing ,i started getting fustrated myself .my Dr. kept saying my body is still healing nd its going to take time. yesterday i weighed myself same exact weight . i got down. then i weighed myself this morning nd i lost 3lbs from yesterday morning . so i was very happy. but this forum will tell us don't go by the weight go by our clothes nd our inches . did u measure urself before surgery i did. nd I'm getting smaller....even if the scale kept reading different . I'll say this.... this surgery is teaching patients ! congrats on ur surgery .

Hi everybody surg Dec 16TH 2013 Hw-261 Sw-246 Cw-228.4 Pre-opt- lost 15 lbs so I've lost 33lbs altogether. Losing slowly but at least its coming off. just reading here tells me it will come off. thx everyone .

I had back pain I'm 1month out has of tomorrow .. my back pain was bad because of my hiatal hernia. i just put hot blankets when in the hospital . then bought a heating pad for my back nd it helps a lot.
