  1. Unjury isn't bad. I also like Designer Whey's unflavored whey protein.
  2. Definitely @Bigboy76. I want to make certain that we have the 2 additional teams before that time. I'll leave it alone for now until I get a response from someone else.
  3. @@tnl1031 I will open a spot for you if you want to join in.
  4. We're set! We have 8 teams. I know that I can get two more teams if you'd like a 10-team league as opposed to 8. Just let me know.
  5. Hello Everyone, I'm 3-weeks post-op and doing well. I feel great. Are there any support groups in the area aside from the one offered by Christiana Care?
  6. Yes @@rmeofone we need two extra teams. Please join us. The URL Is https://yho.com/nfl?l=976933&k=7ca774d886469c5f
  7. I'm not sure why it was set to 10:30am. The draft is 10:45pm. I made sure that it was adjusted. I look forward to participating with you guys later.
  8. Ok. The draft is Wednesday September 3rd at 10:45pm. We currently have 6 teams and 2 pending. I changed the name to Sleevers United because some folks from ObesityHelp may join. Sleevers United sounds kinda cheesy, so if you think of a better name please let me know. I appreciate and accept all input...positive or negative. I want our league to be an open forum.
  9. Ok...So unbeknownst to me, I was made league commish. I'm picking a draft time now. We can draft tomorrow evening at 11pm (these are yahoo times...not mine) or we can draft on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd @ 10:30pm. I changed the team limit to 8. My friend from another WLS is joining and I believe that I'm certain that I can get an 8th person. Let me know what you guys think.
  10. I'm still in. I want to play.
  11. My doc sent me home with liquid Tylenol w/ codeine. That helped a lot with pain for my first week after surgery. I'm 3-weeks post op today as well. I have no pain in my incision sites, but the incision of my drain site is healing slowly. It's still slightly open and it itches like hell. It doesn't hurt though. The weird thing is that the site where my stomach was pulled from is completely healed. The site is slightly raised, but the scar has disappeared. It doesn't even look like I've had surgery.
  12. I found the DS forum in General Weight Loss Surgery Forum.
  13. Isopure and Protein shakes helped me to make my protein goals.
  14. Perhaps we should start a new forum? Some folks who are interested may not see the current one. Just a thought.
  15. I had that pain when I was in the hospital. I was told that it was gas. Walking helped the pain go away.
  16. I'd like to be added. My email is tlallen710@gmail.com
  17. Yes. I only seemed to get nauseous when I attempted to move around.
  18. My surgeon sent me home w/ a prescription for nausea patches. They've worked great. I had surgery on August 11. I have not vomited since being discharged from the hospital.
  19. I'm 2-weeks post-op, and I used a straw once and had no issues afterward. I didn't intend to use a straw, but I was trying to keep juice from a water ice from spilling in my car. It was two sips from the straw. I didn't fill my new stomach with unnecessary air and I didn't die.
  20. I'm 9 days post-op. I'm doing well. I didn't have any complications from the surgery, and I'm no longer in any pain. I can't wait to start working out.
  21. I had my sleeve surgery on August 11. I stayed two nights in Wilmington Hospital. I was discharged today with no issues. I'm In some pain, but most of it is gas pain. The majority of the discomfort and pain that I felt came from the drain lodged in my abdomen. Once that was removed, I felt almost 100% better. I can't wait to be completely pain free.
  22. My surgery was Monday August 11. I spent 2 nights in the hospital. I was discharged today. I'm in pain, but I'm able to walk and climb stairs without assistance.
