Hello! Sorry for the late response. I'm from Wilmington, Delaware. I'm will be getting straight sleeve surgery. This is my first major surgery, so I'm really nervous. I'm on Day 9 of the liquid pre-op diet. I'm required to have 8 servings of Optifast daily. It's not that bad, but I can't wait to eat real food again. My surgery is just 6 days out. I had my official hospital check-in yesterday. The nurse called to get some info about my medicines and stuff. She gave me instructions on what to bring with me. This is really going to happen. I'm so nervous yet ready to start this new chapter in my life.

Hello All, My sleeve surgery date is August 11th. I'm excited about this new chapter in my life. I've embraced the journey. I'm currently on Day 9 of my 2-week pre-op diet. It hasn't been as hard as I imagined, but it hasn't been easy. I can't wait to eat real food again...no matter how small the amount. lol.

Surgery is just 6 days away. I'm doing well on the pre-op diet, but I'm counting down the day to when I can eat solid food again. lol

I'm August 11th too. I'm super nervous and excited. I got my final surgical clearance yesterday. I begin my 2-week optifast diet on Monday July 28th.

I had my surgical clearance today. I was cleared for my August 11th surgery. I have purchased my Optifast 800 to start my two week liquid diet on Monday. I'm so nervous. I almost told the surgeon to cancel my surgery. I started all pre-op requirements in December. Now surgery is really going to happen. It went by so fast.

I will be getting sleeved on August 11th as well. I'm so nervous. It's just a few weeks away. Just a few people know, but my mother is my biggest supporter. She will be with me on the day of my surgery and she'll be staying with me for a week after.

I have a nutribullet and I love it. My favorite go-to smoothie recipe is as follows. 1/2 cup frozen pineapple cubes 1/2 banana, frozen 1 scoop vanilla Protein 1 cup skim milk 1/2 cup ice cubes Blend it all together in the nutribullet.

I was given a tentative surgery date of July 29th. It will likely be postponed, so I'm prepared to be sleeved in August.

I got insurance approval today! My surgery is scheduled for July 29th.

Hello Everyone, My insurance has given the go-ahead for my surgery. I am scheduled for July 29th. The insurance approval was really quick. My paperwork was submitted on Friday June 27th, and I was approved today July 2nd. I was shocked because I didn't expect to have surgery until sometime in August. I'm really excited and really nervous at the same time. I started this process in December. It's gone by so quickly.

I had my endoscopy back in February. I just had my medical clearance appointment yesterday, June 20th. I can expect to have my surgical clearance in 2 weeks...then I'll be given a date for surgery. I was told that it'll like be in late July or early August.
