  1. I wasn't prescribed gallbladder meds until my 2 week post op appt. So it's possible you'll will be given them.
  2. It'll also be 6 weeks for me before I can do any exercise beyond walking.
  3. I'm right at 4 1/2 weeks also. For purée type foods I can only eat 2 Tb. I am now allowed soft meats. I can only take 2-3 tiny (and I mean tiny) bites and I'm full.
  4. My license says 140. When it was renewed in 2009, I was at 350. HUGE difference! I renewed online this past October. Can't wait till time to renew again and see how close I am to 140!
  5. So glad I have never liked coffee! Best of luck to those of you having to wait.
  6. Congrats! Hope to be as successful 6 months out!
  7. Great job!! Keep up the hard work.
  8. Way to go! Could you share what you are having for those 3 meals please - Thx I myself am doing 6-9 oz of Tea with milk and then an hour or so later 1 half boiled egg. For lunch I had 3 oz of mince in bolognese sauce with 2 teaspoons of pea puree today and something similar for dinner (I mix it upeveryday so don't get bored) with some tea again around 6pm. I'm totally stuffed with this much and don't have any room left for any shakes or anything else! And I'm just 1.1 weeks post op For breakfast I have half of a baby bel triangle. For lunch 2Tb humus. For dinner 2Tb refried beans with a bit of cheese. Alternated last week for dinner lobster bisque I bought at the store premade. I ate those same things for a week. This week I didn't buy more humus and lobster bisque. Tired of those. So I've had half of a Colby jack cheese stick for lunch. I haven't puréed any of my own food. Oh I did cook taco soup. I picked out a few beans and some juice and smashed them up. I'm surprised your eating already at 1 week out. Every dr is different. Good luck to you!
  9. Congratulations! You look great. Enjoy your cruise!
  10. I am three weeks out. I started at 321, was 280 day of surgery. Yesterday I was 265. So I have lost 56 lbs. this week a lot of people have made comments about how I've lost weight, they can mostly tell in my face. In Sept I bought a couple 2x men's Tshirts, I had to stretch them out when I wore them, and constantly pull on them as I go. Huge NSV, two weeks ago I didn't have to stretch them out! Now they are really big on me! That's the biggest difference I've noticed. I'm still wearing yoga pants daily as they are most comfortable during this time of healing, so my clothing size hasn't changed (yet!)
  11. I am on purées. For breakfast I am having half of a baby bel triangle. Lunch: 2Tb humus. Dinner: 2Tb watered down refried beans with a sprinkle of cheese. Sometimes I'll alternate some premade Panera bread lobster bisque for dinner. I didn't eat eggs before VSG, so I have no reason to try them now.
  12. I'm getting 320 cal from protein shakes. Maybe 100 from (3) 2Tb puréed meals a day. I hit three weeks yesterday.
  13. I'm on purées, eat on a schedule because I'm not hungry. I have 3 meals a day (2Tb) water and protein shakes.
  14. I'm also in 3 week stall. I knew about it from reading so many posts on here. It's still discouraging to not see the scale move. We will get through it!
  15. Everyone has answered all questions, just wanted to add. My first question to my nurse when I was brought to my room after surgery, Can I put on panties please? lol

Just did this- I enjoy the flavor, taste good. However the air from shaking it to mix is causing lots of air in my tummy, it's uncomfortable to say the least.
  17. I haven't puréed any meats, seems gross to me. I'm eating half a baby bel cheese for breakfast. 2Tb hummus for lunch. And for dinner either 2Tb lobster bisque (bought at store already cooked) or 2Tb refried beans. I'm a creature of habit and easier to have same things every day. I'm 3 weeks out today.
  18. You were sleeved day before me. It will be a while yet before I can eat chicken. So I'd say wait a few weeks and try again.

I've been thinking of doing this. Did you add pb2 powder to the shake or did you add water to make peanut butter then mix?
  20. Wearing wedding ring Wearing boots Wearing cute shoes Shopping for stylish clothes Shopping at Victoria Secrets
  21. Congratulations! Beautiful in first picture as well but you can tell the happiness on your face on your wedding day.
  22. For me no, it doesn't count. I have a goal for both protein shakes and fluid/water.
  23. Congrats and good luck on your healing process.
  24. Congratulations! I also started at size 24- so it's nice seeing hope!
  25. I have same issue except thankfully I don't have thyroid meds. Vitamin 2x daily Calcium 3x daily Previcid 1x daily Gallbladder meds 2x daily Calcium and vitamin must be 2 hours apart. I told nut next week when I have to start waking up earlier again I might be able to get all the calcium in. Just remembered today is Sunday and I have to take b12.
