  1. Not sure if you are religious but I think of this verse when relatives interfere. When my husband and I struggle it is because we are two not one. Mark 10:6-9 "But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.' 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." Good luck!
  2. I am doing good. My only area of work is getting in enough walking. Semply-I use isopure protein. It has 42g of protein in 3.8ounces. It really helps me get in 60-70g.
  3. Interesting. My skin actually freaked out after surgery. I was dry plus breakouts. I had to get a facial which helped.
  4. I am struggling with liquid and chewable vitamins. I switched to gummy vitamins this week (3weeks out) and make sure I really chew them. I figure gummies are better than none.
  5. I am 3 weeks out and exhausted. Just followed up with my surgeon. He said I will be tired for a month and just make sure to get in all my protein, which I am. Hang in there!
  6. Okay, I must be abnormal. I didn't stay the night. I was scheduled for surgery at 10:45 but started close to 2. I was ready to go by 7:30. The doctor was hesitant to let me go but I was out by 9pm. Anyone else not stay the night?
  7. Congrats barefeet! I have been bouncing up and down and up! Luckily it is gradually going down. Down 15 so far.
  8. I was blurry for a week but the anesthesiologist warned me that the Scopolamine patch would do that.
  9. "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." Thomas A. Edison
  10. I use it when I am out. I am very careful not to take too large of sips when using a straw.
  11. I sleeved on 12/23 and had a couple of beers on 12/20 for a Christmas party. I had no issues. Happy 21st!
  12. Interesting! It is supposed to help with metabolism as well. I ordered some. Will let you know my results.
  13. My doctor wants 160. I want 150. I am 5'7".
  14. Thanks. Luckily mine is online too. I just didn't want to lose my momentum. I want to graduate in 2016!
  15. I have had night sweats too. Wonder what that is about.
  16. I think your life has a ton of activity! Have you thought about getting a Fitbit? I got mine so I could increase my steps during the day since getting to the gym is hard for me.
  17. Sleeved on 12/23. I was on a break from my doctoral studies. I started back up on the 1st. I am having a hard time getting back in the swing of school. I assume it is residual anesthesia and healing. Did anyone delay school after sleeving? Not sure if I should take a break or knuckle through.
  18. Has anyone decided on a goal gift? If so, what is it? My goal is 150 and I asked my husband to get me a new wedding band if I hit my goal. Would love to hear other's planned gifts.
  19. Staring 227. Goal 219.
