I am so ready to get it done!

I know what you mean, my days at work have been dragging! My 13 year old son tells me all the time that I'm impatient so this is really torturing me, lol.

Start liquid diet tomorrow. Surgery Thursday! Nerves have begun.

I think I'm going to steal your idea to do something every year on the surgiversay that I wouldn't have done, love it!

I keep flipping between being really excited to get this done and then I catch myself thinking "OMG, are you seriously going to do this". Date can't get here soon enough so I this can stop.

Too many food funerals last week, at least I didn't gain. Start pre-op this week so party is over.

Surgery 2/17/14 I'm almost 5 months out
Left is 288, today I am 205... Not where I want to be but much closer than I was!

Down 50lbs and feeling great! My mom is also a WLS patient. She's down 175lbs and is such an inspiration to me!

So far I have no official pre-op, but my pre-op appt is on Monday and I will find out then if I have to suffer with you guys.
I too have been food funeralling it up over and over. Need to have the final funeral so I can be done with it!!

I'm July 24th too, glad to find more people with this date. My doctor doesn't require a pre-op diet but I'm going to start shakes for Breakfast and lunch tomorrow and then do all liquid 2 days prior to surgery. I've been having so many food funerals I need to do it to get ready for the big change in eating!

One year out and doing great! I had surgery July 2nd 2013 at Swedish Hospital Seattle WA and my high weight before surgery was 330 lbs, size 26-28, 4x. I am now 173lbs, wear a size 12 in most stuff, large shirt, and have even lost a shoe size. I would like to lose 20 more lbs but I'm fine where I am if I don't lose another pound as well. I have no more sleep apnea, more high blood pressure and I can walk/run/row...do anything I want now! I have noticed folks do treat you differently when you're thinner...more friendly, chatty and more smiles. It's strange going into store with normal size clothing and browsing, all the while thinking they are going to find me out any minute and tell me the big girls store is down the block. Sometimes I feel I've always been this new size and shocked when I see the old me in pictures, and sometimes I feel large still, look in the mirror and I'm shocked. It's been a great journey and I'm so glad I did it!

Officially found out today that I am going to be a July sleever! The 24th to be exact!!! So damned exciting!

Not quite an after pic as I still have 40 lbs to go but hey, I've lost 80!!

Here is a new before and after pic, the before was taken in the Dr's office at my first appointment, the after( me leaning on my paramedic truck) was taken at a weight loss surgery the dr had last night. before was 379 lbs November 2012, after 220 lbs July 9 2014.
