  7. I use whey 60 available at GNC. it mixes easily and doesnt have a funny aftertaste.
  8. I am taking a chewable multivitamin (dont like it very much), 2 calcium chews , b12 sublingual, and biotin- all from GNC
  9. I have to take 3 meds besides vitamins and supplements. Did you have to take extra meds also? If so, did your doc let you swallow them or did you have to crush them? If you had to crush them, what did you mix it with, and how long did you have to crush them? Thanks for the feedback

  11. Im getting sleeved December 26th! Yay!! Anybody else out there in the same boat? I'm getting worried about getting stuff ready for Christmas, the pre op diet, and getting the house in order. Any words of encouragement, advice, etc?

  13. 2 suggestions -- Try Isopure from GNC - its more like flavored protein water. its kinda sour, but different from regular protein shakes. Also Carnation instant breakfast just tastes like chocolate milk. Good luck!

  15. So, the hubby just called and says "I have a bad feeling about this surgery". wtf do I do with that piece of info? My surgery date is Dec. 26th.

  20. I Had mine yesterday. It was a piece of cake. No worries. Today I just had a slight sore throat, not even bad enough to require a throat lonzenge. Take it easy . the waiting is the hardest part.

  22. Calmoseptine- ask the pharmacist. It the best ointment out there. I use it for everything. No prescription needed
  23. Both my NUT and surgeon allow straws. I am pre-op and have been practicing also I like straws better for sipping, and I dont think I get more air. I found that I tend to gulp more without the straw.
