  2. Memorial Day weekend wasn't fun and this one will not be either. I, again, must wait until Monday to find out if my employer has funds to contract me through October. This would give me time to a) look for a longer contract, or B) apply to a new position that's coming up. Mentally wanting to gorge! Need to shut down...

This too shall pass.. Don't give up your health, your self esteem because of your job. I understand where you are coming from.. But giving into food will only make your situation work. It will work out,

  7. Hello today is the big day . I am getting a revision from the lap band to the sleeve , I go in at 9:30 am . I had the band put in twice the first time I contracted h pilorie or what ever it was which caused a lot of vomiting and acid . Which Inturn caused the band to bend the stomach. So they took it out but before they did I lost a 100 pounds I was 430 when I had the band drop to 330 . Then they put it in again but just maintained it . But then I started having problems , they now are saying it is bending the stomach and some of the fluid is missing .so now today I will get the sleeve I gained 20 pounds unfortunately .so I am up to 350 ..looking forward for the new lifestyle and hopefully no more constant hunger pains that never seem to get satisfied

  12. Ok, so I found a snack that I can eat that is almost like having potato chips? If your interested, it's Pork rinds. They have no carbs, and are protein and they curb that snacky craving!!! Check it out!!!

It happens to most of us. Stalls. There are a lot of posts that relates to this . Search this topic to read on bariatric pal to see how people dealt with it. But just know it is normal.. So don't get disappointed. Look at the big picture. If you following the eating protocol..the excess weight will come off.

  17. I'm finding that I need to let go of the following foods: Beef Sticks, Beef Jerky, Sargento Part-Skim Moz sticks, Deli Slice meats. They have too much sodium and too many nitrates in them which retains water. Doesn't make a girl happy when she steps on the scale so now I'm done!

I love cottage cheese with canned peaches or pears..I know what you mean by too much salt and the effect on water retention. Cottage cheese is high in salt.
