Sure that would be awesome. What time are we meeting and its up in University right? I so need to crack down it isnt funny. My friend Mike that I know is going on a cruise ship to sing for three months and when people arent going to be around for a while it kind of motivates me and I say hey I can lose a possible 15 to 30 pounds by the time he gets back so I need to focus. So thank you Melissa and the Nutrionist program is over for me, well I had one more time to go but didnt make it because I had no gas in my car. :paranoid So I need to make an appointment for my last time around. Awesome on the Insurance thing!!!! ROCK ON! You will be banded in know time. When they told me that it only took me a week to get approval and I had my date. Three weeks out and I was a bandster! Let's hope it works out for you like that as well. I will be thinking of ya!!! Angie

Thanks everyone! I so appreciate the encouragement. I am going to go grocery shopping this weekend and will buy the right things and will make sure I get in all the Protein and Water I need. I need to start seeing the scale move again and to make myself proud again. I am very proud I have lost the 50 pounds, thanks for saying that. It does lift me up and I do say look at what you have accomplished. Last year at this time I was in Vegas and could hardly handle all that walking up and down the strip so we had to take Taxi's. I am sure if I went to do it now, I would do great. Thanks for the encouragement. I love you girls! Angie

Hello all, I live in Lake Wylie SC. And I was banded June 30th of 2005. I am currently seperated from my husband and have three beautiful little girls ages 9, 6, & 4. Oh yeah I have to say I am thirtysomething... well I am 34 and will be 35 August 2nd!! OMG!!!! :cool: I have lost 50 pounds total. I need to lose another 50 to get to my personal goal but I have been eating the wrong things and haven't lost since December. I need to get things in order and get losing again because it feels so good to lose and I look so much and feel so much better for it. It's nice to meet all you thirtysomethings out there. I need the company. Angie

Hey Girls, I am in need of some encouragement. I am not eating well at all. With everything that has been going on I have resorted back to my old eating habits and I am really feeling bad for it. I am drinking with my meals. I am eating way too much and afraid I may have stretched my pouch because I can just eat and eat and not feel full at all. I haven't lost any weight since December and I am fluctuating all the time. My one year is up on the 30th of June and I wanted to at least be 3/4 of the way there but feel like I have failed in some odd miserable way? Am I being too hard on myself? What I want you to please do is to show me the bandster way of eating again? What do I need for Breakfast, lunch, dinner. And what do I need for my Snacks. I feel like I need to learn all over again. I am ashamed and feeling pretty bad about this right now. Please help me! Angie

Congrats on your one year Kim. I am sooo proud of you. You are doing so wonderful! I can't wait to say that I have lost 85 pounds. You rock, you are beautiful, and you are a very good friend. I am so glad I went through this because if I hadn't I wouldnt have met you!!! ROCK ON! Angie

Thank you Mary B. I so appreciate that. I do feel so much better and I am so much happier with the way I am looking. I feel gorgeous but I want it to keep going. I want to have the rest of this weight off of my by December. So we shall see how it goes. I will call Dr. B tomorrow to get it scheduled. Thanks!! Angie

Thanks Maryb. I appreciate it. I hit the half way mark in December and havent lost anything since. I am not following the guidelines of being a bnadster and need to get back on track. With losing my grandmother in November and now my husband has left it has taken a toll on me emotionally and I have been doing that emotional eating. I need to get out of that period and start losing. I do need a fill too because I just feel like I can eat anything. Angie

Congrats on your surgery! You are going to do fine. Just follow everything he tells you to do. I didnt get any diareah after taking that pill. I was banded almost a year ago by him and dont remember having a foley? If I got one it was out before I was awake. When I went back anethesiologist came in and put in the IV and then they put on these leg things that massaged your legs so you wont get blood clots. And they keep them on even after your surgery until you get up and start moving around. Other then that everything went smooth sailing. I even stayed overnight but not everyone needs too. That stuff the knocked me out with really knocked me out for a good day! LOL Good luck to you on your surgery. I will be thinking of you. Angie

That is awesome Maryb! I cant wait to say I am smaller than my mom. Her size 12's I got into were stretchy so who knows it could be a 14 for me too. I will have to go shopping and try on some clothes. I need to check out Khol's and see what they have. I love capri's. They are very comfortable. Keep on truckin Maryb and before you know it you will be in a size 12!!! Angie

Yeah apparently those drugs are pretty good and they make you forget things and you look back and say I said that or I did that? lol Angie

That is funny that you say you want to raid her closet. I am out of town visiting here in the great state of VA. And I tried on her jeans and then wanted to check everything else she had on. You should have seen her eyes like OMG she is going to start stealing my clothes. It was funny. I wish I could take the size 12's with me so I can prove it to my NC girls! :girl_hug: Angie

I about messed my britches a little while ago when I fit in my Mom's size 12 pants! I was able to snap and zip!!!! OMG, I am the happiest thing on this earth right now. I told my mom the other night that I wanted to be in a 12 by this time and low and behold what happened??? My Mom said "Angie you look smaller than me lets try on these pants." I tried them on and they fit. I jumped like tigger all throughout the house I was sooo happy!!!!! This lapband has done wonders for my spirit and my happiness. I was so unhappy and so unhealthy the way that I was. Life is looking up girls!! WOOT! Angie

Oh thank goodness Kathy it wasnt a real job, you had me worried!!!!! And your poor boy cant move in the house? What on earth does she think he should do for that long?? Oh yeah, I am here in Va and my parents are doing the same thing!!! HELP ME! My kids cant move around here without them saying something to them. Thank goodness I visit twice a year and that's it.
