Thanks everyone, and way to go Tonks!! I feel like life is a big adventure again. Love this band.

The evening hours are the hardest for me. I can go all day without eating at all and it does not bother me, but in the evening I always think I need something. A lot of times I get up and go to the gym to keep from snacking. Sometimes i give in and snack,I do try to have healthy snacks. Donna

I think I look younger. Maybe it is because I take much better care of myself now. Donna

I got all dressed up the other night to go to a xmas party and men at the party were flirting with me. It felt great. I have been invisible for the last three years at least. At least that is how i felt. Now i feel attractive again. I may be 54, but i am still very much alive, and now i feel that way. I am so..... glad i got this band. Who knows i might even start dating again. Never too late!!! Donna

I am 54,divorced, and work as a supervisor in a shelter for abused children. Before that I taught school.I really love to read and to travel. I have one son who is 33 and is in Iraq working on an army base in Taji. I just gained this weight over the last few years, and i am so happy to have this band to help get rid of it. Donna

Ladybug--Glad you are doing so well. I have had my band for six months now and i still love mine too.I eat healthy foods now , not junk, and i feel so much better. Donna Bert--Congrats on your surgery tomorrow. Let us know how you do. Donna

I have lost enough that my port sticks out pretty good. I have to be careful to protect it now. Donna

I had no second thoughts. I knew it was right for me. I was just very excited and a little nervous about going to Mexico for surgery. But it was all ok. Donna

I had surgery in Mexico and my fill doc here charges 1100 for one year of blind fills. But i was happy to find someone to do them. It is cheaper than flying back to Mexico every time I need a fill. I loved my doctor in Mexico, he was very nice and took lots of time with me to explain everything.I also love it that Dr. Watkins post here. Love all the info. Donna

Sounds like you are doing ok considering your other surgeries. Now that you are better just keep coming to this site for support to help you re-focus. The third fill really did it for me. Best of luck. Donna

Thanks everyone. The little things really do make a big difference. Friends tell me I even walk differently now. I guess it is because I am not hauling so much with me. LOL Donna

Before my band I had gotten so fat I took only showers. It was too hard getting in and out of the bath tub. I was really missing long hot bubble baths. Well they are back! It is funny how you start doing certain things again without even realizing it. Like bubble baths, and wearing jeans with zippers. I was soaking in the bubbles today when i realized how much I loved this band. Well I am off to work a double shift at the shelter so Merry Xmas all. Donna:whoo::whoo::whoo:

Please do not wait too long to see a doctor . It sounds like you are too tight. If all else fails go to the E.R. Good luck Donna

Way to go !! I am 54 and i think it goes a little slower as we get older. I just hit the 50 pounds off mark and i am so happy. Hope everyone has a good xmas. Donna
