  1. Lipton pure leaf ice tea with Splenda packets added in, orange juice with unjury protein mixed in.... Fairs and amusement parks are not very wls friendly....usually I just deal with water or unsweetened ice tea when I'm out ...I literally pack a lunch cooler with drinks in it when I go out
  2. I have done the resin outside chair , a friends patio chair , and the toilet seat, twice....it's nice not to be in that predicament anymore

  7. I'm 5 months out and still exhausted , surgery takes a toll and our main concerns is getting all the vitamins in especially iron and b12.....it will take time ...
  8. I tried sesame chicken at wegmans amd even though it was two pieces, it was nice to have a change of pace
  9. I had it and my surgeon said that because they so so much work on the left side it bruises and they do something to prevent a hernia ....I took Celebrex for a week and it got so much better.

  11. That is ridiculous, because those post op meals are non covered by your ins, it will not count towards your deductible or out of pocket .... This shouldn't be a requirement.... My doc had stuff at the office but I wasn't req to buy it..... It was so much cheaper just to go online to get things from injury.com and quest.com and whatever I couldn't order online I bought in the store
  12. I have to join ya all , was 42 c and now 40 b,,, and they look like flapjacks ....never though my boobs would be this important to me , but a little warning would have been nice
  13. Rny was a perfect choice for me because I had a hiatal hernia and they were able to fix that while in there... I was over 130lbs overweight and I lost. 100lbs in 5 months... I wrk for an insurance company and I will tell you that majority of people end up starting with lap band and but then go to rny because they weren't able to get the results with lap band ... My husband had the gastric sleeve and he had over 200 lbs to lose and lost 130 lbs in a year and it was a perfect choice for him...do the research and weigh the pros and cons

  17. Not so crazy , I have t been able to tolerate water either ....it suck and no matter if its cold or room temp , it makes me nautious
  18. Measure everything ...when I came home it was jello cup which I couldn't even eat half , chicken broth , and oatmeal...I was only able to drink a cup of water for the whole day ...
  19. I'm glad that you were able to get the help and for admitting you were having a problem ...while I'm not chewing and spitting things out, I'm afraid of food.... I eat the same things everyday and only enough to get my protein of 60 grams in Unjury unflavored protein in my oj Quest protein bar Salad And for snack - banana apple sauce and peanuts I have tried real foods but I never get past the first bite and its just not that appealing ... Chicken doesn't feel right going down and I hate seafood ;(. My friend thinks I may be starting to have an eating disorder cause it may be more in my head than actually not being able to eat it

They want you to incorporate what should be your new habits prior to surgery to show your committed after the surgery....if you don't change your habits before than your more likely to end up back in the same place after surgery when it's all said and done cause you can stretch out your pouch .....I have up soda a month before my surgery so that I was prepared for after ... It was hard , I felt like I was in a 12 step program ... But it was good because now I can't stand it....it's hard as hell and not easy but we got ourselves into this situation because of our habits ...we are all here for you

  22. I am 5 months out and it still doesn't sit well... I have kind of just settled eating salads for dinner
  23. Same here, my doctor said its normal after wls and for most people it doesn't go away...I'm just going to start bringing a sweater to work
  24. I am 5 months out and exhausted all the time , I thought I would have all this energy but its worse now than before , hibernation couldn't come soon enough
