  1. I'm not liking the thinning , it seems to around my hairline in the front...so far have been on the biotin for 2 weeks and eating peanuts to give me a boost in my protein...I'm finally at 800 with my calorie intake but haven't tried anything really new... No meats or chicken .. Have up chicken because it seems to be my problem food.

  4. My husband had dumping after his gastric sleeve and once he started taking fiber pills he got regulated
  5. Everyone's different , trying milk when I was in a liquid diet gave me stomach pain that felt like gas pains

  7. I had my surgery on march 8th and I have been consistent with my weight loss, down 92 lbs...I have had incredible hair loss on the last month and I'm taking biotin and all other vitamins ... My protein intake is 60 grams and my calorie intake is between 500-650. I am on MFP And its a great tool to keep track on what your eating and to also see what everyone else is eating ...
  8. I only get between 500-650 calories a day but make sure to get at least 60 grams of protein
  9. I used the unjury unflavored and put it in crystal Light , worth it
  10. I didn't feel full but I would just stop so I wouldn't get sick since I had no idea how my body would react ....Popsicles and injury protein in my drinks was my savior
  11. I ate oatmeal, so much better than eating jello and I hate any type of seafood ....used injury unflavored protein and put it in my crystal light drinks and orang juice
  12. My husband has the sleeve and I had the bypass. I also had a hiatal hernia and my BMI wasn't over 50 so my option was the bypass....best decision I could make...I have had minor complications but have lost 92 lbs in 4 1/2 months ....my husband was 392 and had the sleeve and almost 3 years out and has lonely lost 130 lbs ....the sleeve is more of a 1 step process to going for the bypass....
  13. No one can truly understand unless you have been there....I'm sorry that you lost a friend but you deserve better...this was a sacrifice for all of us and there is nothing easy about it
  14. I track in mfp screen name mamafine23....I like keeping track to make sure I'm getting the protein in... Made homemade chili last week and tried some for dinner tonight...so far so good
  15. 2 out of my 4 girls are on the spectrum ...my oldest is 13 and she was diagnosed with asbergers and my 8 year old was diagnose with autism when she was 3... It's rough

My fitness pal app has been a lifesaver for me to keep track of everything I'm eating during the day ...you have to keep in mind how you got to the weight you did whenever you feel like skipping into old habits and stay away from everything that put you there...it's not worth it...this is an awesome support group here and we are all here for you

  19. Popsicles , jello , chicken broth , crystal light ...I didn't have to go on any pre op diet.. I was only told the night to eat light that day ...maybe mix a protein mix in your drink to help make you feel full

Maybe it's just a texture and processing thing ...I have tried chicken so many different ways and nothing has worked ...I have been ok with ground turkey but have only eaten it in chili ....otherwise I haven't been able to stomach anything else ...salad is my favorite at the moment cause its something different ....I became lactose intolerant after the surgery so that keeps a good majority of things off the list
