The time will fly SA. I'm just home today for my first sleep in my own bed since surgery. It's nice but still pretty sore as the drugs wear off. Its such a different sensation for me having had the band for 8 years before conversion.
When do you start your pre op diet? I'd definitely be interested in your thoughts on your new book purchase once you receive it.

I'm 14 Oct, on the other side of the world to most of you but will def be checking in to share, support and get inspiration from all other October buddies here.

Day 2 of recovery in hospital now and definitely feeling more human. The first few hours were rough but I think that may have been due to lots of scar tissue from my band. Look forward to hearing how you go.

I'm in Sydney and 2 weeks ago was rescheduled to tomorrow 26 Sept. Lying in bed clock watching at the moment with only 3hrs left until I need to get up to head to the hospital - excited and anxious all at the same time.

Since January i have:
cut out all sodas
limited my carbs and when i do eat them they are whole grain if i have a choice
started eating on a schedule - meals/snacks
eat my Proteins first then everything else
making lower fat versions of my favorite meals
collecting and adapting recipes for all the stages so i wont be bored.
purchased hardware(utensils and dishware) and software(protein samples, vitamins,early foods)
"practice" not drinking while eating..... this isnt going so well..
downloaded apps to help me remember to eat drink and meds.
and finally.... my food funeral

I like OMG October too! Hopefully we will all have lots of OMG in November and December and right throughout the new year maybe that would be TMI?
