  1. I am a very slow loser, I've been at the same weight of 185 for 15 days, my husband says "maybe that's going to be your weight" I wanted to bite his head off, I told him I didn't go through this just to lose 45 lbs., although I did it for health reasons, however I refuse not to fail, I am 50lbs away from my goal, it may not seem like a lot, but I'm short and round, lol it's time to kick it up a notch, I need to work harder...
  2. I been stuck at the same weight for 9 days, I'm so irritated by that, Damn!!
  3. Thanks, I need it...
  4. My baby is fussy today, I can't hold nothing down...it might have something to do with kidney stones, yes I had to rush to the ER this week because of kidney stones, the worst pain you would ever want to experience, I felt like I was dying, it hurt to breath...I don't wish that pain on my worst enemy....
  5. Thanks, I see a specialist tomorrow and I was told to stop taking the Calcium.
  6. I am wondering how I develop kidney stones when my diet consist of protein shakes, crystal light water, sugar free popsicle, and baked catfish and green beans...now I'm wondering how long will it take me to get out the woods of complications,?!? Oh yeah I eat mostly soft foods.
  7. Oh my goodness, that's terrible....I hope you start to feel better very soon. That was my fear, blood clot because I had one prior to RNY...I can't relate as having nausea because I was lucky to bypass that part...I just wanted to send you a word of encouragement, everything will be okay from this point on, just take your time and remember it's a mental situation and if your mentality is lined up with whats going on with your body, you will be fine. I feel for you, take your time and get well soon.
  8. I had table spoon of baked Mac and cheese, 2 table spoon of green beans and 1 oz of baked catfish.
  9. I had to go to the hospital 4 days in a row for liquids, they didn't hospitalize me but they did send me home everyday with an iv though. I hope it works out, keep us posted, oh have u tried sugar free popsicles?
  10. Im addicted to the sugar free popsicles, I think I'm eating too many, I had about 5 already, it helps me when I mess up on eating wrong, I got stuck today so no food only popsicles..
  11. Im sorry you're feeling bad, did your doc prescribe Zofran? It really helps with the nausea.
  12. What a morning, I tried eating a boiled egg..big mistake, I been spitting up every since, I can barely keep down my protein shake, I guess I'll do just liquids the next day or so to get back on track.
  13. I had to give myself injections for 30 days after surgery, I even had an IVC Filter placed in before surgery, it was removed 30 days after surgery, due to the fact I had blood clot in my lungs this past December, I was considered high risk because of that. Giving yourself the injections not that bad, as long as you stick yourself in the fatty area, avoid muscle areas, it stings and leaves a mark if u stick in the muscle, you can do it...
  14. I had baked catfish with a sprinkle of lemon juice, green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy, I ate from my baby plate of course, lol
  15. You should have been on clear liquids for the first week, and full liquids two weeks after that, pureed food around the fourth week...check your food schedule.
  16. I walked along the Lake to the beach this evening, it was soooo relaxing, Chicago is so beautiful in the summertime...and for dinner I had baked catfish and green beans, although I ate just a little, it was satisfying and it didn't get stuck, for dessert I will have sugar free popsicle...today was a good day.
