  3. Swimming is great! If you don't know how to swim you can take water aerobics...most of the time you can use floatation devices in deep water, or you can even water walk! Our local Y has water aerobics especially for people with arthritis. Do you have s Y near you? There's also a workout floatation device called an " aquajogger" made especially for vigorously treading water. I have chronic pain issued and swimming is the one exercise I can always to...no impact.
  4. Found a great recipe for turkey sausage ... 1 lb lean ground turkey 1/4 c.bread crumbs 2 t sage 1 t. Each coriander and oregano 1/2 t each paprika., garlic powder and onion powder 1/4 t each: salt, cayenne, black pepper 1/2 c chicken broth Combine all, except broth Add broth until moist buy not mushy Refrigerated for at least 20 minutes Form into eight patties Coat a non stick pan with cooking spray heat over medium - high heat Cook 7 minutes on each side or until browned and center is done I mixed the sausage today ; we'll eat tomorrow! Much better than store- bought turkey sausage, I bet! 14.5 g Protein 79 calories 1.06 g fat

  8. Crock pot chicken: 8 chicken breaths or thighs, boneless 2 lbs sliced fresh mushrooms 1 medium onion, sliced 1can cream of chicken Soup 2 cups chicken stock 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 t. Pepper 1 t.onion powder Cook all ingredients in crock pot for 8 hours shred chicken Just put this together to start cooking in a couple of hours...I'll let you know how it turns out.. hubby and son will he eating theirs with brown rice Yummy!

  10. If you're fainting, I think you definitely need a sit down with your doc and nut. You may need to eat small amounts more frequently or it could be a serious deficiency. Talk to your Dr ....I'm worried for you.
  11. My nut. says she can live with one cup of coffee a day. They're paramour about dehydration, etc.
  12. Yeah I can do whole wheat special k crackers or pretzel thins. Even toast is a no go. I'm not even going to attempt fresh bread!
  13. I can definitely eat more soft foods. I try to eat "hard " protein first then veggies. I can usually only do about two oz hard protein and I'm full.

  16. *sushi *...my nut warned me off rolls if they have rice, though. I'm going to stick to sashimi.
  17. I'm cleared for wishing after six weeks...check with your nut. All plans and docs are different.
