  1. Call, but remember that it was probably an honest mistake made by an overworked, underpaid employee. Still, it's important to let management know that these mistakes can have serious consequences.
  2. Long trip, huh? I bet you'll be happy when you step on the scale!
  3. 6 months out..not too bad
  4. I hear you...still thinking I'm fat....people are calling me "skinnny" ,which I'm NOT yet, but neither am I obese....that, coupled with the hanging skin, makes for a really skewed body image. I talk a lot about it with my therapist.
  5. At this point, I only tried this med for a little while..I have vestibular migraines which cause stroke symptoms....really messing with my life. I'll ask my neurologist about switching if it doesn't work or makes me gain anymore...thanks for the tip!
  6. I have clinical depression, and my doc really was really upfront about the dangers and realities of worsening depression. My depression was totally stabilized prior to surgery, so all systems were go.. So far my depression remains under control. Having said that, I also know two people who really struggle with depression and addiction post rny....I can't say either one would consider the surgery a success. I hope you can get some help, especially since you mention sexual assault. Have you received counseling for ptsd? It might be something to consider, hon...
  7. My A is low, too, but, my doc referred me to my nut to get food choices. He doesn't recommend vitamin A supplements since A is stored in the liver, thus levels can become too high.
  8. I asked my team leader about this, as well as water loading...she said there was no research to back up either. I was freaking out ,thinking about gaining weight, even though I'm only six months out. She said logging food helps, as does continuing an exercise regime. She also told me many people need to pick up their exercise after the 18 month mark. It was food for thought
  9. My face is getting so wrinkly...I have jowls and the skin under my neck is so loose and goose like. I did this to be healthy, but, I'm looking old. Demoralizing....I can live with the loose skin on my body, I guess, but my face is just looking old...
  10. I have fatty liver....rny can help reverse this process in the long run. Fatty liver is very common in obese people....talk to your team or GI doc about it. The pre op diet is not to reverse fatty liver disease, just shrink the liver and make it more pliable.
  11. I was going to let my first husband name our twins, but then he got obsessed with " Max" and "Dex"....that's when it became a joint decision...lol
  12. Congrats to all....good stuff!
  13. I just had to buy shoes yesterday...don't get it...I went down to a size 6 after my twins were born, and I never lost a shoe size before... This is getting expensive.
  14. You'll move on soon..hang in there...you got this!
