  1. The STALL IS OVER!!! I've last 6lbs since last Friday :-). Total down; 83lbs in 4.5 months :-)).
  2. Chicken noodle (w/o the noodles :-)) soup!
  3. My husband said that as well. When I'm at the gym I do 90 minutes of lifting and 35 minutes on treadmill. I'm now walking at 3.1 on a 5-6% incline. I feel really good. Just would like to see the numbers going down to reflect my work. I journal religiously. I have since day 1. I use myfitnesspal (ellismommy4241) and I also wear a fitbit. I recently purchased a Pebble that records activity for the Linxess system through our YMCA. Unusual taken in anywhere from 700-900 cals a day. Mostly I'm more around the 800 mark though. My next plan is to hire a personal trainer. Thanks for the suggestions DL. I will give this a try as well. Chris
  4. So I'm 4.5 months PO and I've lost 77lbs. I'm eating 4oz every meal mostly 3oz protein and 1 oz veggie. I'm in the gym 4 days a week for 2 hrs each time. With that being said; I keep either loosing 1lb or gaining 1lb! This has been going on for about 4 weeks. I'm getting a little frustrated! What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
  5. It will happen before you know it. For now rest, walk and sip :-)
  6. Have you tried gas x? I had sever Gas pain for two weeks post op. still have it from time to time at 4 months PO. Hope you're doing better soon!
  7. My parent came for a month to care for my toddler. There's no way I could have done this without them! Even in pain meds bc I slept constantly. Try to find someone to help with the little one and you'll do fine with the pain meds. Remember moving helps more and more each time you do it. Best of luck!
  8. I've had three strictures. Fixing it is a cake walk and you're going to feel so much better!
  9. Hey!! I finally found you guys!! 7/3 surgery date and down 79lbs. Feeling great about that! I'm a bit under the weather right now w sinus infection and that's slowing me up a bit but over all I feel awesome! Hope everyone's doing well!
  10. Hi guys! How's everyone doing? I'm officially 4.5 months (7/3) and down 79lbs. Doing well and hope everyone else is as well. What's your plans to survive the holidays? Hope everyone returns to the forum soon! Peace!
  11. Ps, my sister's name is Sarah Beth :-)
  12. I'm 4.5ish months out as well (7/3). I've lost 79lbs. It's been small steady amounts with some weeks w 0 loss. I think we are still in a good range. I know it's frustrating to not see that scale move but try to focus more on NSVs like how your clothing feels, your energy levels, coming off RX meds, and your overall mood. Hang in there. We can do this!! Prayers :-)
  13. Chicken and broccoli in spicy garlic sauce
  14. I have Anthem BC/BS and mine was done in one surgery. Doc advised it could take two but I never really had any issues with my band (the doc that installed it ruptured it during a fill so it never worked for me) like erosions, pain, or slippage; so I guess that helped out. I will say new doc had to make my pouch a little smaller than he usually does but Ive had no issues with that either. Best of luck.
  15. 8 weeks out? I'd stick with small and soft. Maybe you could smuggle in a yogurt, cheese stick, or air popped popcorn. Pop it at home and smuggle it in Mostly, have fun with your pals and enjoy a great evening out with friends! You'll be fine and have lots of fun!
  16. I'm from ky but live in Indy! How bout them CATS!!!
  17. How do you make the side by side comparison photos?
  18. It was awesome! Even my three year old ate it and loved it :-) Thanks for the great recipe!
