To tell him about my pain? Or my fear of eating ... He can give me meds for pain but what will he do about my fear? Not much I just needed to vent

Had gastric bypass 11/11/13 went home and something wasn't right, went through hell and back to finally be admitted to the hospital were I went into a coma for 4 days, had 2 blood transfusions and had to stay in the hospital until I learned how to walk talk and semi eat.... Although through all that time all I ate was ice chips... I was released home a day before thanksgiving.... Thanksgiving passed and I had a slice of apple & sucked on an orange (but didn't eat it) I guess I experienced dumping & dehydration that night because I was super cold, dizzy, couldn't walk, nausea, (threw up a little blood) and diarrhea (so I thought) while in bed I couldn't get up so I super soiled myself with what I thought was poop (sorry TMI) but it was more blood than poop... husband called doctor & confirmed it was dumping (although the blood wasn't explained) .... Days have passed and I've been too scared to eat I've been drinking Water only... My body started experiencing body aches... And it's been harder to move... That's my story so far... I'm writing because I just feel like my body wanted to give up... I'm scared of well dying... Nobody understands me because they don't feel the feeling I have inside... I keep having dreams of it happening... I'm scared and have no one to talk to its weird how I'm feeling I hope I'm super wrong and this fear of eating goes away... I just needed to vent and share my story ..

My parents will be helping and my husband too when he can so that does help I'm just counting for the days that I start to feel normal

I passed gas for the first time and it was great for the pain and this morning I went number 2 for the first time I have to admit it was embarrassing because I couldn't clean myself I had to call my husband 0_o

Everything was great can't really consume the 4oz of clear liquids I get full before it and the sugar free stuff is kinda nasty it seems sweeter than the ones with sugar... How log will this abdominal pain last? Officially post op yay after this pain is gone I can finally start living

When does the pain go away? Just wondering, I don't have a high pain threshold so I'm in serious pain I'm taking pain meds but doesn't work, also how long before u can stand up straight ... I was discharged front the hospital today and I regret leaving because I can't lay down on my ed just siting on the couch which sucks ... My husband ate some Taco Bell today and it's crazy how nauseated the smell made me yay no temptations so happy but seriously this pain and what can I do to lessen it besides walking

Ad my surgery 11-11-13 and I'm in SOOO much pain I'm worried about going home to a jumping toddler and wondering when will the pain go away

I'm so happy and in pain of course lol had my surgery around 9:45am and to be honest I don't even remember going in lol .... I haven't gotten up to walk yet because I have been sleep since I got out of surgery due to pain and dizziness and I was super exhausted since Sunday I only slept end 2 hours... They constantly were checking on me and I will be getting up to try and walk I have also been blowing in the device and coughing to avoid ammonia (sorry I I spelled it wrong) .... I know a couple girls also had this surgery date and I hope you girls are doing great!!! Let me know your statues !! The people in the hospital have been angels sent from God and super amazing .. Well have to go I'm a little nauseas ...

My day has finally come after almost 3 years of trying ... Tomorrow is my surgery date and I'm a little nervous about what I consumed today ... I drank Water most of the day but I also had some Soup and I ate a cookie :/ I feel terrible about the cookie I hope they don't cancel my surgery... What did you or drink the day before your surgery

My surgery is tomorrow at 8 and would love a pal :/ I'm insecure about what I ate today and I'm worried it'll affect me tomorrow ... I clear liquid most of the day and only ate 1 time which was soap with vegetable

Last day of clear liquid diet until my surgery date and I have to say the whey protein shots are disgusting ! Lol but I managed I wish I could find different brands of clear liquid protein shots but seems impossible .. Unless online and it's too late for that... Anyway hope you ladies are doing great

Congrats! My surgery is also on Monday 11/11/13 I'm so nervous and excited so many emotions... I'm sure every one has a different diet so I would also like some ideas... As for me I was told to drink 4oz of clear liquid every hour ... Meaning broth, protein shots, etc... But I would love to hear other ideas! Congrats again

I actually had my pre-op testing done today and it doesn't seem as they are canceling my operation so I'm till a go for Monday YAY fingers crossed* as the date approaches I do get nervous I have to admit I had a slip on the pre op diet and I'm praying that's not a problem and wot prevent me from getting the surgery... I just want to cross that finish line already it's so close and I'm so ready to begin my new life to a healthier me hope all is well in your end .. Do you have a date yet

Definitely has gotten easier thank god!!! I found that using 1% instead of skim does improve the taste of the shakes for me yay.... I'm just praying I hear back from my insurance this week fingers crossed ... Being so close the the finish line feels great I just pray and hope the insurance company lets me cross it will definitely try calling on Monday hope you ladies are closer to your goal you guys have been a huge support for me
