Definitely bigger, by the screams of OUCH! Hahaha My fiancé is definitely happy about it though. But the drive has been more than ever, but that's not saying much. I am 29 and a guy so.....lmao

i think i was ready to go 3 days post op. so far i've lost close to 25 lbs and i can tell that its "longer". My wife confirmed. ha!

Well if i end up better then i was in my teen yrs my wife better run fast she will be one tired gal my excuse they told me to get a lot of exercise lol

Heading to the hospital in about three hours. Trying to get some last minute things packed up and ready, and finishing some laundry. I slept well last night with the help of my friend Ambien. We are getting a foot of snow today and I thin I am more anxious now about my husband having to drive me to the hospital in it. School for my kids has been cancelled and I hear the roads are pretty bad. I have been praying all morning for all of my surgery buddies today, those who have yet to have their procedure and those who are already on the losers bench, and for all of our surgeons. I will try to post something tonight if I am feeling up to it, bringing my iphone, kindle fire, and laptop so I am sure I can get one fired up enough to let you know how I am doing. I have a big favor to ask! Would you all check the list, and if you see any mistakes, or you want to be added, let me know tonight! Surgery is tomorrow, and I'll be posting from my iPod or tablet at the hospital, and this thing is much easier on a keyboard! That way I can get it all right tonight! After this, please feel free to copy and paste to make corrections! I don't mind at all! We went from about ten or fifteen when I started this thread to 74 people!!! And that's if I haven't missed anyone! I love this group!!

I am so glad I found this. My date is 3/25. I am getting very excited!!

1 more day. surgery is on Monday 3/18 at 9:30 am. also my 36th birthday. liquid diet has been pretty hard though. worth it.

This site is great! I like the fact I don't feel alone and that others are going through the same thing. I have been applying cream all day to my legs and drinking only Water. Dry skin was this morning looking like fish scales, will have to keep this in check.

What the?? This kind of makes me want to junk punch my doctor! Ha! I want food! I am happy for you though

I know EXACTLY what you're saying. I'm so glad the surgery is over for me, but it's harder than I thought it would be. If anyone ever tells you it's "the easy way out", you have my permission to punch them in the throat. When's your surgery date?

Ok so the surgery is done And let me tell u what...recovery sucks!!!!!

I know how you feel. I can't drink all the required Water or Protein. I got kinda depressed yesterday and cried because it seems like b4 the surg is was obsessed with food and now after surgery I'm still obsessed with trying to eat and drink but it's harder bcuz I can't fit it all in in one day!

I love them too. I add lots of Water to them and prefer strawberry kiwi, fuzzy naval and tropical nectar. You could try some crystal light. I put them in a container with a small opening to drink from so I don't get much of a smell. I know how frustrating finding Protein Drinks can be as I can't stand anything milky tasting so all those chocolate ones make me want to vomit. Good luck...

I'm on the losers bench!! Just got out of ICU, been walking about, gas is a problem. But got my wife by my side for most of the time.

Lol I keep seeing the Whopper commercials and can't wait to have one...without the bread of course. I'm just looking forward to "taste"

I found a pin on pinterest yesterday that lead to a blog with a faux Pizza Crust using ground cauliflower and a few
other ingredients! It bakes up just like a real pizza and you can top it with some lowfat cheese and toppings, etc.

tonight I just had the "innards" of a taco. Ground beef, Beans, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and guac. Even though I'm past the mushy stage this is still one of my favorite meals.
Went grocery shopping tonight got stuff for some new recipes like hawaiian bbq chicken, buffalo chicken meatballs, and croque monsieur egg rolls. If they turn out successful I'll share with you all

I hope so too..... Because in future I want to wear first bikini that I will be able to feel comfortable in and prefer w no coverup...... :-)

Mine too and that is where i hurt so bad! Has to be a muscle because it feels like I'm being ripped open whenever i sit or lay down. Hopefully the indent will go away and our whole stomach will look like a "6-pack" in a few months!!
