  2. Yes..i was really sick for a long time..my Dr just didn't believe me I guess..i was so happy to get it out!
  3. Do they have these at Walmart? Where would o look for them there?

I'm 8wks out and having problems with vicodin going down...i was cutting each 1 in 4ths and recently into halves but the last week they are getting stuck..i take 3 at a time so by the time I cut into 4ths I have trouble with my pouch getting them all in so I don't know what to do..i can barely do the liquid loritab cuz it gags me..crushing gags me too

I was having problems with my gallbladder for a couple years...i had alot of poisson on my right side..in my back and sometimes up between my shoulder blades...extreme pain from certain things I ate that were too greasy..throwing up yellow bile...i had been telling my Dr but I think she thought it was all in. my head! I was having attacks that would last for a few days. When I met with the surgeon before rny he had me go for an ultra sound and sure enough they found stones so they removed mine at the time of rny..5 large stones..if I had not mentioned it before hand I have no doubt I would have been having surgery again!   7. They took mine out when they did the rny..i was hurting bad.. Took some time..i don't feel completely healed on the inside yet
  8. I think an ultra sound of the gallbladder should be a pre op requirement
  9. Yes, that is a rough surgery take lots of time to rest..hope you feel better soon
  10. I'm 8wks out and I have had toast 2x with no problem but it was really crispy...i can't handle plain bread or pasta yet...

  12. I made chicken and rice last week...omg I had to get rid of the rice! I had no problem with it other than it tasted too good!

Sorry old hippie....i sure hope this surgery helps you get past the diabetes....that was once of the main reasons i decided to have it..my brother now had type 2 and is having so many health problems..my dad died at 60 due to diabetes and heart....i fought long and hard thru cancer treatment and I was not about to survive that just to have try to live with with high bp and diabetes...being older (49) than many on here I see my weight coming off slower than most but that's ok as long as its coming off...
  14. I've definitely felt that way from dumping....i don't think I'm experiencing anything related to low blood sugar since surgery but now I'm pretty sure I was before...good thing I don't have to be concerned anymore!
  15. I just can't do tuna...eeeeccckkk....i find that ground beef goes down better even than chicken...I'm not brave enough to try a boiled egg..they never used to go down very good before surgery...bananas and applesauce are a big nono for me to
  16. I don't really get out much or see people I know so I don't hear any commeNts ...i have 3 sons but only 2 see me daily...i always have to ask if they can tell I'm losing lol! But they are very supportive otherwise...my 5 yr old grandson is the only one who said grandma you're losing weight
  17. So sorry you have to keep going thru this..plus the gallbladder...makes it so hard when you lose faith in. you're Dr. ...wishing the best for you....there's a reason you're in pain and it's their job to find out why!
