  1. so I ended up having to go to ER Christmas. I tried to hold off long as I could so my family could have a nice dinner. fighting through pain and nausea I cooked for them first then let them eat. then couldn't take it anymore. i even made comments in the interstate heading to hospital might have to pull over and call 911. but I made it and meds last night and endoscopy this afternoon to fix again a stricture and in the morning doing an ultrasound on gallbladder.
  2. at the ER hopefully find out what's going on. today the pain turned into like spasms and is aweful!!
  3. thanks tink!! merry Christmas to you too!!
  4. thanks I just don't know what it is. I am in pain even when not eating and drinking!! I moved my bedroom furniture around yesterday and been having a different pain in left side under my rib cage that is unrelated to the eating and drinking issue.
  5. thank you. at least now I know what to look for and the symptoms
  6. well I thought I was doing good since the surgeon did a dilatation about a month ago but the past few days I have noticed pain when eating and then when drinking and now the amount consumed is less and less no vomiting as of yet but this is how it started the first time. I am 8 weeks post op today
  7. hope you feel better!! merry Christmas!!
  8. the premier ones have 30 grams of protein and 160 calories 1 gram of sugar
  9. try the EAS advantage ones you can get at most grocery stores or premier protein shakes you can buy at Sam's
  10. you can have SF popcicles and jello and pudding. don't use the premade ones but the ones you make and instant pudding that way you are getting in more protein.
  11. I am 2 months post op. strain your cream soups. my favorite if you can find it is Campbell's Cream of Chicken with mushrooms. SF popcicles also.
  12. isopure is just one protein source. I drink premier protein shakes bought at Sam's at 30 grams of protein. but you can try protein powders mixed with water or milk. or unflavored added to drinks. My surgeons office gave me some samples of unjury chicken soup that I add to my church chicken soup it adds 21 grams of protein and it is really good.
  13. definitely find out how many calories to maintain. I think it is 1500. regular is 2000 but that's for women that doesn't have weight issues
  14. I bought the almond milk just to find out it only has one gram of protein in it so really not worth it.
  15. on the full liquid cottage cheese is allowed. this became my best friend during the full liquid stage
  16. try drinking milk too. it has some protein and counts as fluid. I also bought true lemon just to add to water. after awhile you get tired of all things sweet
  17. try adding shredded cheese to your eggs and a Tad of milk and butter. should help. remember we are allowed small amounts of fats.
  18. isopure does count. my surgeon and NUT both says so
