Gained Weight
I kind of knew I would have gained weight since last months weigh in due to me quitting smoking 3 weeks ago....gained 7 lbs. But they did say because I just ate and it was a evening appointment and water retention can be part of those lbs. They scheduled my last 2 appointments for September and October so looks like surgery may be in November

New And Looking For Support
Well my insurance requires a 7 month supervised weight loss program. Tomorrow makes my 5th appointment. So far the dietician put me on a 1500 calorie diet and had me start with a multi vitamin. The test that are required are different depending on the surgeon. Mine requires an EKG, a pulmonary function test, and endoscopy. And in October I have a psych evaluation. I an 5'8" and weigh 274.4 as of last appt. He wants me to lose 10 more pounds. Started out weighing 285-287. BM I is 41.5

Well my pcp did the ekg in his office plus the blood work in April and had the pulmonary function test scheduled for me a couple days after that. In June my surgeon did the endoscopy. I have to wait till October for the pysch evaluation because she is so booked up I had to make it like 3 months in advance

The ones my doc requires were EKG, endoscopy, pulmonary function test, and blood work.

April was my 1st month of 7 required by my insurance company. I have completed all tests except the pysch evaluation which they have scheduled for October 3rd. I am hoping it doesn't take too long after that. I guess end of October or beginning of November. I am going to try and find out more tomorrow at my monthly appt

Congrats on your approval. I can't wait to get it but I still have a ways to go. These last couple months sees to be taking forever
