Try "Oh Yeah" ready to drink! 32g Protein and 4-6 carbs. I've tried so many but these are my favorites! They have a website but Vitamin Shoppe has singles in their stores. VS website has them cheaper than the oh yeah website! Good luck!

Thank god it is over! Sore as hades in hospital, got home yesterday and between the gas issues and feeling like a truck backed over me, getting better. Today I am really glad I stocked up on several types of the Isopure drinks, so I can take small sips, and get Water too.

But walking really helps

It does seem crazy to go home the next day after major surgery! Mine was Tuesday 9/11 and I was released at 2pm next day! Does feel more comfy in my own bed. Incisions look great and pain is tolerable with just Tylenol. I do have lortab if I need it though. Best wishes everyone I'll see you on the other side!

Try Popchips! They're not fried OR baked. They almost melt in your mouth! Go online to Popchips.com to find a store that carries them. Or you can order them online!So yunmy in several flavors!

Four of us today and four of us tomorrow!! And I can't believe I'm one of them! Best wishes and prayers to everyone. Can't wait to read updates!

Day 11 of pre op diet-5 Protein Shakes plus all the clear sf liquids I want. I've lost 12 pounds too! Really praying for everyone that it goes well with no complications and a fast recuperation time for each of us
. Surgery is sept 11! It's so surreal after this crazy year of 36 medical appts, 2 sleep studies, endoscopy, jumping thru hoops for insurance, taking off work so many times -that it's all so close now!! It's really going to happen!
321 was my highest-299 now and ready to go!!

Hi all-i love reading everone's stories. Its so encouraging and helps so much, so thank you to all!
I started my two week clear liquid/protein shake diet yesterday-so far so good!! surgery is sept 11th. Had pre surgery bloodwork done on the 24th. It shows I'm severely low on Vitamin D and my white blood cell count is high. I'm hoping that's from an abscess I had removed from my leg ten days prior to tests, which is healed now. I'm now on 50,000 iu of D once a week for 8 weeks and the nurse said that won't delay the RNY. I have to get a note from physician who removed abscess, clearing me for surgery. Yikes I hope the infection is gone Tuesday when I see him again. Is there any way for me to know its still there? Any way I can make sure it's gone?

This app is just what I need! After jumping through hoops for 7 months I just found out I'm approved by insurance! Sept 11th is my surgery date! I'm excited plus scared hopeful happy nervous anxious thrilled haha lots of emotions! Liquid/ Protein starts aug 27th for two weeks. Has anyone found really good ready to drink Protein Shakes? I like "oh yeah" brand is there anything better?

Congrats Moffie! My surgery is September 10 and I start my liver shrink diet on August 27 too! I'm very excited, but a little nervous too.

Thanks everyone....not exactly 70 in 2 months....I had lost 25 lbs pre-op and another 45 since surgery. Seeing those pics side by side finally let me see what everyone around kept telling me they saw....especially in my face. Feeling great....that's the best part!!!

People have actually told me I've become concieded. I catch my reflection in anything and I have to look! I don't feel that I'm concieded, I am just shocked at the transformation that has happened !

I kept 1 pair of pants and 1 shirt so I could do a befor and after pic.
After that I'll use the pants to make a tent for the kids.
