  1. Crstal, A light weight? Interesting... You and I have almost the same stats. Very interesting but good to know. And yes, I would be screaming. Hang in there!! It will come off. :-)
  2. My Center of Excellance stated that they risks are about the same with bypass and the sleeve when done properly. The issue with the sleeve is that it is a lot newer so surgeons have less practice. Like a few have stated, I wanted the risk pf dumping since I am a HUGE sweet and carb lover. So, I think it is what suits the individual needs of the patient.
  3. OH Hang in there!! It is SOOO hard. I know. I have figured out thru this process I just can't have carbs. I love them so but as soon as I eat them, the scale shoots up. You can do this! We are here for you. Maybe start weaning yourself off of them? Antoher words eat less and less of the bakery items each day? I had to do this with chocolate.
  4. Ladyspl, WOW no pain meds.. Glad you were able to make it through ok with out them. The pain pump and the catheter bug me more than the surgery itself. lol I see you are at AGH. I'll be at Magee on Monday. :-)
