  2. any fat free dressing ,following the serving size
  3. kisersassy ,i forgot the shakes are 170cals 25 grms protein 2 sugars and good fiber . vanillabean,strawberryand cream,choc. 14 oz bottles
  4. kisersassy, my two week preop sounds alittle different than others on here. so here goes breakfast consists of 1 total lean gnc brand protein shake ,there very good by the way, mid morning a small piece of fruit. lunch i protein bar under 220 calories and atleast 10 grms protein.afternoon snack another fruit your choice,supper is 3oz lean meat ,salad unlimited size but no eggs,cheese,or croutons.two tablespoons of balsamic vineagrette dressing and any fresh veggie no canned veg has to be fresh,, also sugar free jello and popsicles and any sugar free drinks between meals . hope that helps plus alot of walking. my wife is doing this diet also to support me and has dropped 13 lbs also so far , hope this helps good luck

  7. Pretty standard I guess , weight, height, family history ,my history list of meds I take and a bp check , temp and one more tube of blood ! And alot of questions and forms to sign ! Sept 18 is coming fast !!!

  9. It's not easy by any means , down 17 .7 lbs in one week hope this week gets easier food has been in control to long for me and it's messing with my head !! I'm getting those feelings of should I really do this or not but then a look in the mirror and my question is answered ! Any one else feel that way !
  10. I'm nervous also my surgery is sept 18 , I try and tell myself it's only a bump in the road to go over ! Lol I've had several surgeries - lower back fusion / knee surgery and a few others never on the stomach though ! And yes they will give you some good drugs to relax you pre surgery !! This is going to be harder but I'm ready for the challenge !

No I'm not on clear liquids ,my pre op is a little different than some , Protein shake for Breakfast , a small price of fruit mid morning , a Protein Bar at lunch , and small fruit mid afternoon ,3 oz lean protein and salad with fresh veggies for dinner no limit on the salad or veg as long as its fresh veg . Also the dressing is balsamic vinaigrette following the serving size. And sf Jello or Popsicles , any sugar free drink. But no mention of chicken boilion,
  12. Yep , day four of my pre op diet ! Down 11 pounds , I think I veered off coarse today I had a cup of chicken boilion not sure if I spelled that correctly or not . I couldn't help my self I needed something otter than sf jello or crystal light. I can do this I am doing this eye on the prize I keep telling myself !!!
  13. Hang in there I'm on day 3 of my 2 week pre op diet !! Think of the prize at the end of all of this !
