  1. I woke up today feeling pretty bad. Sore throat, stuffy nose, headache...Signs of a cold I suppose. But my question is. What am I supposed to take? I would rather try home remedies/over the counter meds before going to my doctor. any advice and tips are highly appreciated. Thanks <3
  2. Yay! Im so happy that you're ok.
  3. Jenn, I was thinking that today. And mind you I just got on soft foods. But I eat and I feel like I can't get anything down. And Protein makes me SO nauseous. I really hope this gets better.
  4. Yodelania you look great! How has your journey been so far? Btw, I have those glasses too
  5. I was pre diabetic prior to surgery. But the first 3 days after surgery I needed insulin because my sugar was 200+ & about the drain mines leaked for about 4-5 days. Then had it removed a week after surgery.
  6. Hey buddy, Sorry you're going through this. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything ends up ok. Please keep us informed! Get well soon.
  7. Wait, Rita's makes SF? Lol We only have one Rita's in NYC. It's a train ride of about 45 mins. I think the same with 7-11.
  8. My job offers a membership to NYSC and well, at 241 not only did I work out alone and had a trainer. I also did what all the skinny thin women did in the locker room...walk around naked. Lol. I admit, it was really because the darn towels didn't wrap around me and they would only cover one body piece at a time. Lol. So I gave up. You're not going for anyone else but yourself. It isn't a place to find a date or to look cute. It's a gym, dont let anyone intimidate you.
  9. Haha! I had the SF strawberry banana & also the SF mango. Yum.
  10. I tried both SF & reg. well I bought a small SF and sipped a bit from my brothers reg one lol But both did great on my tummy and on a hot day.
  11. LosingIt and SusieB. Thanks so much. Yeah it wasnt smart for me to try chicken so soon. I forgot all about the dietitian. I'll call tomorrow and schedule an app with her. But thank you all for your output. I really learned my lesson. Oh, and I didn't dump off sweet tea. Lol. I had a few sips a few days ago. Wouldn't be doing that often but it's nice to know I can have a sip once in a blue.
  12. Lol tell me about it. Once I felt that pain in my chest. I knew I messed up lol.
  13. Thanks. I'll try GNC for them tomorrow. No Walmart in NYC.
  14. I'm only exactly 2 weeks. I know, bad bad choice. Lol. But I'm glad I dumped. I'm going to walk a fine line now. Haha
  15. Oops forgot to give you my email lol dns.peralta@gmail.com
  16. Grandma made some fried chicken. I thought I could get away with eating a bit of the meat sans the skin. I didn't think I'd dump since I hadn't dumped off sugar. Maybe i didn't chew it well enough or something. All I know is that I feel this pressure in my pouch area like something is trying to go down. It's a weird pain. And I keep throwing up white foam. I am officially done testing my pouch. This sucks. I don't care what caused my dumping. Whether chewing, speed or fat content. I will not mess with this again. Lol And a question, is this white foam vomit normal?
