  1. I have another question for you ladies... Once your period has slowed down to spotting, have you ever had a sudden gush of heavy bleeding again?? This happened to me today. I was getting dressed to go run some errands and even though I was wearing a heavy flow overnight pad it soaked right thru it and through my jeans!! A few minutes more it would have happened to me in the street! This is the second time now. I dont have an appt with my surgeon until the 19th and with the GYN until the 27th...Im scared!
  2. That's my date too! you have done well...keep it up!
  3. After a week I was able to nap on my tummy for a lil while. Now at almost 4 weeks I sleep on my tummy just fine.
  4. SOrry that this happened to you. I am glad that you are ok. I hope that it could be done at a later date. Don't lose hope. ((HUGS))
  5. The only issues I had with my periods before were that they were never on time or sometimes would not come at all and were pretty heavy. The heaviness I'm talking about my latest period is no where near what I had before...when it started it came with no warning and I had to change clothes and stand in the shower for about 30 mins because it was pouring out! Sorry for the TMI but no other way to explain it. I hope we don't all have these issues long term...I thought that surgery would have helped in the pcos department! :/
  6. Anyone else having problems with the app on iPhone?? I can't reply to my messages.
  7. Thats a good question!! Im trying to get to the bottom of this...I havent been able to get in touch with anyone at walmart yet. I will call the BBB tomorrow and see what they say. I will also try to find out who at the SNAPS/EBT program can I ask about things like this.
  8. Right now I get my shakes in by adding a lil bit of sugar free hershey's syrup and a tablespoon of decaf instant coffee. Or adding a lil bit of cantaloupe.
  9. Hi...I am in the same boat! I was a sleeve to rny patient as well. I had my rny done august 20th and I lost 18lbs the first 2 weeks then I stopped loosing for a few days and then gained 2lbs! I have since lost the 2lbs that I gained but so far thats it! I really try to get the Water and Protein in. I can't excersise because of a pain that I have in my left side (which Im getting checked out next week) but I walk 30mins to and hour every other day and I feel that I should still be losing something! At this point post op most people lose weight doing nothing at all! Im very frustrated! I hope we can both get past what ever this is and start losing weight!
  10. Hi! Sorry about your ipod but congrats on the surgery date!
  11. Look in the baby food isle of the supermarket!!! Gerber graduates have these things that look like cheese doodles and are very yummy. They crunch but melt in your mouth so its ok if youre on puree. they have different flavors. They also have wheels that come in flavors like maple and apple cinnamon. Beechnut have something similar as well... but they come in little packets. They are veggie flavored "fries" and they are yummy. Just remember not to pig out on em lol
  12. Thats an awsome idea!!! It would be great to buy bariactric friendly foods at the grocery store! It would really help people like me that have trouble staying within their "diet" because they either aren't sure what to eat or are bored with their choices. It is also great for single people or for moms of picky eaters. After surgery, when I was well enough to stand up and cook for family, I became a little depressed because here I was cooking regular food for the family but had to eat pureed slop! It also caused me to cheat a few times until I finally dumped on something and learned to obey the rules! lol I think you would be a rich and very appreciated man if you made this happen!!
  13. I too have pcos and I just got my 1st period since surgery also VERY heavy! Mine sorta started on Sunday with on/off spotiing and light bleeding but this morning it was very heavy (some clots and soaking pads quickly) Its light again but Im concerned. I was too chicken to ask lol
  14. Such a nice boost eh? That's great that you and the Mrs are so close and that she's so supportive You are lucky to have that...alot of people dont.
  15. Did you try the regular one or the light? I didnt like the light because it had that "sweet n' low" after taste..yuk! lol
  16. Well now we know where you got your SN from. lol
