I was with my psych for 20m, he asked things like.. if I cried that week, if I thought about suicide, If I hid my eating, if I purged, then asked if I had thought about surgery for more or less than 2 years. My doc was a weirdo though, he was 35m late for appt, then was more concerned about his dogs in doggie day camp with the webcam, then talking to me about the surgery. Then when I paid his $170 fee, he took out his wallet and put it in, right in front of me. Very different experience. LOL

Wow, girl, you took the words right out of my mouth! I hate being "the fat girl" with all my skinny gf's. I avoid many social situations, so that I don't feel people are laughing at me. Did you all see the news anchor who told off that jerk about his nasty "fat hate" email? Now that made me cry! She rocked her response!

We just got a Ross at our mall, I have yet to step foot in it. Much like all the other stores I have never explored because I know they will have nothing to fit me. Love Macy's purses! Cannot wait to shop their clothes! Much like other folks have said on this forum, I don't know what I'll do, not having to go into the plus sections any longer! What a wonderful problem we will have!

Yes I know that it is better for your credit rating, however, I think I will gladly take the hit on this one! LOL Perhaps at least cutting the card up into itsy bitsy pieces would be better LOL

I am famous for my yard sale finds, I will be stoked when the outfits I find I can actually fit! LOL

It is robbery how much they charge for a pair of jeans for "plus" size folks.

They have too begged! LOL guess I should be ashamed that I spent so much money with them that now when I am not, they are worried. LOL

I must admit, its scary too. With my size, I've never had a "style" its always been more about coverage then cuteness LOL so the limited selection at LB was enough, but after surgery I will be able to shop everywhere and its scary because I don't know what style I like! It will be overwhelming, but I cannot wait! LOL

One of my goals is to tell Lane Bryant to close my account. I am still paying off the clothes I bought before I made the decision to have surgery, before April, and I only have $250 left. Well apparently they are sweating me not spending in over 6 months that I am being bombed with emails, text messages, mail and now a fancy new credit card. LOL cannot wait to make the call to close the account because I can no longer fit their clothes :-) Sorry, I just needed to tell someone.

November 15th!!! Yay!!!

I love the rhythm of Zumba, but man, did it ever make me realize how bad my 2 left feet really are!! LOL cannot wait to have a waist again so that I actually look like I'm doing the Zumba moves and not just jiggling my jello LOL

From Erie, but am having Dr Gagne in Pittsburgh perform my surgery November 15th at West Penn. Just had my 5th PCP weigh-in on Thursday. Only have bloodwork, 6th weigh-in and then pre-opt nutritionist appt left til the big day!
