  1. I'm 11 months out and have lost 118 pounds. I'm hoping to lose about 40 more pounds and then hopefully have a tummy tuck.

  6. I've lost 110 pounds in 10 months, so I thought I would try to do a "round off" that's similar to a cartwheel. I've been exercising a lot so I thought I could show my kids (ages 26, 23, and 20), who were all home visiting this weekend, how agile I am now. I'm a lot lighter, but I'm still 46 years old. Boy, did it hurt when I pulled my hamstring muscle trying to do the round off. My 20 year old had to carry me in the house. He's probably really glad I don't weigh 300 pounds anymore. Lol. As soon as I can, I'm going to start exercising again, but gymnastics are off-limits for this "old" woman. Ha ha!
  7. Praise God! I've lost 110 pounds and am very thankful God has helped me be able to lose the weight!
  8. Congratulations! I've lost 110 pounds after 9 1/2 months. I'm hoping to lose forty more pounds in the next 2 1/2 months. I'm really stepping up my exercise plan to try to accomplish my goal.

  15. I, too, have had several stalls. I've found that the scales will move again if I change things up a little by eating different foods and eat more protein.
  16. I finally made it to onederland. I weighed 199 this morning. That makes a total of 98 pounds lost in 7 1/2 months. I'm so happy!!!
  17. I use EAS protein shakes (ready made) from Wal-Mart. They're only $4.97 for four, and I really like them when they're cold. The strawberry and vanilla are delicious. They have 100 calories each and have 17 grams of protein. They're also low carb.
  18. Two of my incisions got red and infected looking a few weeks after my surgery. I tried putting antibiotic appointment on them, but one got worse. I ended up going to the doctor for oral antibiotics. It cleared up right away!
  19. I love the Special K Protein cereal. I think it has 10g protein in each serving. I often eat a serving with 2% milk for breakfast, and sometimes I nibble on it as a snack at night. It's delicious!
  20. I have a friend who had surgery last March and has lost 228 pounds already. He went from 488 to 260.
  21. Does anyone else have problems with their stomach "growling" or just making lots of noise? It's not from hunger because it usually happens AFTER I eat. I guess it's just my stomach digesting the food.
  22. Hi! I had surgery July 20, 2012. SW-297 CW-211 GW-147
  23. Has anyone heard that taking probiotics will help speed up weight loss? I've read that it will and am wondering if anyone else has tried it.
